增幅器 (Mods) 是一种装备在 战甲、武器 和 守卫 的卡片,借此提升伤害、技能强度、生存力、速度, 守卫技能 以及能力值,Mod有被动技能、主动技能、守卫技能及提升能力值, 每个装备的mod类型是不相同的
mod取得
取得mod的途径:
- 用 铂 购买战甲、武器、守卫会附赠mod,战甲附赠4个技能mod,守卫附赠2个守卫技能mod
- 用蓝图制作战甲会附赠4个技能mod
- 袭击/间谍/捕获 任务 会给予mod、蓝图 或是 耗材 作为任务完成的奖励. mod奖励通常是体力恢复、体力最大值、生命力、冲刺速度或是弹药/弹匣/装弹速度的mod.
- 防御任务中每5波过后可以选择拿取奖赏并离开,每次的奖励都是随机的,但是越高的波数给予的奖励将越稀有,在7.7版本更新后,防御任务已经成为取得稀有mod的主要来源
- 在商店购买Mod转蛋
- 敌人掉落,现在已经证实高等的敌人会掉落稀有mod,可是高等的敌人并没有较高的掉宝率。掉落的mod一律是0等的mod,当捡取mod后会在萤幕的右侧中间显示出捡取的是什么mod,有时候会是融合核心 (参见下方融合核心) 而不是一般的mod。
- 敌人掉落的mod被任何玩家捡起来都会是同一个mod
- mod可以在神殿的任何一个地方见到的储存容器中取得,而在宝物房将会更容易见到
- 所有从储存容器里出现的mod被每个玩家捡到都不是相同的并且在一段时间后就会消失,随着9.6版本更新后据说掉落的mod将不在消失,但是储存容器出现的mod依然会消失。
- 每一种敌人都会有他固定掉落的数种mod。
- Mod转换可以选择四个mod来合成一个随机的mod,有机会出现稀有mod或只是稍微好一点的mod。

类型
Mod只能被安装在它们所属类型的装备上. 类型分别为武器、战甲或守卫 (例如「Warframe Mod」) 或是指定何种战甲(例如「Trinity Mod」)。mod的类型会在说明部分的左上方叙述
稀有度
Mod的稀有度是用不同颜色的边框以及描述来表示,通常需要挑战高等级敌人才有机会获得稀有mod

战甲、守卫和武器有所谓的「Mod 点数」,当装备mod时会消耗,战甲与守卫有10个mod插槽,武器与守卫武器有8个mod插槽. 没有使用Orokin反应堆或是Orokin催化剂时每个等级只有一点的mod点数(30等时最大值为30点),增幅过后(使用反应堆/催化剂) 每等级将会是两点mod点数(30等时最大值为60点). 灵气mod能够提升上限到44点 (增幅后是74点)
极性

大部分的装备插槽可以任意的安装mod,但是有些插槽具有「极性」 每一种极性都有着独一无二的符号,mod极性如果符合插槽极性的话可以获得50%的消耗减免(取整数). 但是插入的mod跟插槽极性不同时将会提高25%~30%的点数消耗(以基本消耗为基准计算)。
Mod等级
Mod的等级有0等到10等的范围 (大多为3~5级;这里指的是每个MOD的等级最大值+1为总等级上限). 当mod的等级大于0时,是用卡片左侧中央的黑色空格来表示等级,高等级的mod将有更高的点数需求。
战斗力点数

决斗场是玩家对玩家的特殊模式 (简称PVP) 是用来对抗其他玩家的竞技场,每个mod、武器、守卫或是战甲都会被决斗场系统给计算战斗力点数,以攻击力mod作例子,像是黄蜂蛰刺会让武器更具威力,因此得到的点数会比让你有更多弹药的戏法增幅还要多。决斗场有特定的点数要求作为限制,这可以使Tenno之间的决斗更加公平,如果你的战斗力有1000点,举例来说,你将无法加入一个上限为400点战斗力的决斗场, 必须选择其他更高的决斗场。
Mod安裝
安裝mod時,在升級介面左側拖延mod並放到右側任何一個槽位。只要mod上標示的消耗值小於或等於物件剩餘的点数,mod就能正常安裝。
消耗值的多少會被槽位上的極性所改變:
- 極性相同會減少消耗:Slash Dash 需要消耗2點点数,但放到附有Power極性的槽位上時只消耗1點点数。(合適的配置只消耗一半耗能)
- 極性相異會增加正常消耗的三份之一,舍棄小數: mod正常消耗1-5增加1、mod正常消耗6-8增加2、mod正常消耗9-11增加3……以此類推。
如正常安裝,物件將獲得mod的效果。
額外疊加效果
玩家無法為了疊加效果,而將相同的mod放到同一物件上。 例如,一把副武器只能配置一張Honrnet Strike,不能更多。
提升護盾、生命、或能量的mod,只會從warframe的基礎值上計算。
提升傷害或附加特性傷害的mod不會互相排斥。只需要足夠的点数空間,一把武器能夠同時放置增傷、火傷、冰傷、電傷、毒傷以及貫通傷害,使用武器時它們會同時產生作用。
融合

Mod能够以融合的方式提升等级。过程需要任何其他的Mod或者融合核心,同时消费相对数量的 现金。
特殊Mod
以下種類的mod無法透過正常任務途徑而取得:
神器Mod

神器mod能夠同時影響房間內的玩家,並拓展warframe的点数空間。
噩夢Mod
- 主條目: Category:Nightmare Mode Mods
噩夢Mod擁有雙屬性。只能通過噩夢模式任務取得。
崩壞Mod
- 主條目: Category:Corrupted Mods
崩壞mods能夠通過Orokin Derelict獲得,需要利用龍鑰開啟寶庫。崩壞mod擁有雙屬性,其一為增益效果,其二為減益效果。
