Blast Damage is created from combining Heat Damage and Cold Damage. It's an elemental combination that does slightly increased damage to Machinery enemies and Fossilized flesh but slightly reduced damage to Sinew and Ferrite Armor.
Blast damage produces a different stunning effect in comparison to that of Impact Damage. Delivering great force, Blast damage's status effect is an area of effect Knockdown. This effect can be applied against a recovering victim, causing them to flip in their recovery as if they were normally stunned. Victims that were killed by Blast damage will have their corpses launched away from their initial position. Against Tenno, the visuals of the status effect will last 2 seconds.

- As of Update 12.4, an enemy killed by blast damage will be launched away from their initial position, allowing attacks in a straight line unimpeded by the corpse.
