- WARFRAME's File Directory
- Rarity weightings and rarity classifications in Drop Tables
- Dedicated Servers is now its own page, migrated from Conclave#Dedicated Servers
- User-made documentation on Riven Mods trade data schema on Riven Mods#Schema
Backend[]
Tooltips Refactor and Expansion[]
- New Module:Tooltips to replace clunky Template:Tooltip and Module:Icon/data. Tooltips now pull from the associated module's
/data
subpage (e.g. Template:WF gets data from Module:Warframes/data)- Credit to User:Gigamicro for design and jump-starting the project.
- New tooltip support for Resources and Focus (e.g.
Argon Crystal and
Void Strike)
Automation[]
- Most infoboxes are now built in Lua, pulling data from their respective
/data
module subpage to display to readers- For example, Template:Warframe uses Module:Warframes/infobox and Module:Warframes/data
- Exceptions are lore pages (which typically use Template:Character, Template:Quest, or Template:Infobox), Archwings (Template:Archwing), Necramechs (Template:Necramech), companions (Template:Sentinel, Template:Kavat, Template:Kubrow), and miscellaneous content (which may use Template:Component or Template:Infobox)
- Template:Advantages and Template:Disadvantages now automate the comparison of a weapon's stats against those in a particular weapon class/slot (see Braton for live usage)
- Module:Baro/history now automates Baro Ki'Teer's historical offerings wikitables based on Module:Baro/data
- Template:WeaponNav is automated by Module:Weapons/nav, pulling data from Module:Weapons/ppdata
- All Void Relic pages are automated using Module:Void/page (with the exception of
Requiem I,
Requiem II,
Requiem III,
Requiem IV)
- Weapon Comparison expanded upon with new columns and weapon types, including a CSV output on Weapon Comparison/CSV
- Template:WeaponNav is now built through Module:Weapons/nav based on data in Module:Weapons/ppdata

- Most major modules should have LuaDoc-style documentation describing each function's purpose and usage
- Most major
/data
module subpages should have a wikitable describing available keys, accepted value types, whether or not key is required, description, and example values - WARFRAME Wiki:Development Guide, WARFRAME Wiki:Updating Databases, and WARFRAME Wiki:Programming Standards published
Miscellaneous[]
- Template:Ver now displays version release date for readability
Full Module List[]
Frontend[]
Unified Community Platform and User Experience[]
- Fandom has finally released their new desktop experience, FandomDesktop, with UCP
- With dark theme, comes with updating how we display text and icons on articles for readability on both light and dark themes
- More awareness of mobile platforms and experience
- Visual accessibility guidelines
- Template:WarframeNavVisual star emoji (⭐) added next to names of Primed Warframes for visual aid
- Most gallery tags under Media section of articles should now use default gallery type instead of
mode="slideshow"
for enabling users to click to expand images on desktop
Mainpage[]

- Swapped Kuva Lich with Lich System link in Template:Mainpage Box Content
- Template:Mainpage Box Featured Videos Responsive added by User:ChickenBar for multiple featured videos
Stylesheets[]

for navigation bars added by Module:Navigation
- Various clean up and updates to Common.css after FandomDesktop released
- Consolidation of tabber class names for <div> wrappers of <tabber> tags:

→tabber-borderless
tabbertab-borderless
→tabber-borderless
- Credit to User:Owlbot for updating these CSS classes on articles
JS Scripts[]

- Image mappings for Nightwave challenges are now stored in NightwaveActs.json (moved from Module:NightwaveActs)
- Refactored MediaWiki:Countdown.js and removing support for Baro timers as they can be implemented as parser functions on pages
Templates[]
- New tooltip templates Template:D, Template:Resource, Template:Focus that replaces Template:Icon.
- New Polarity template Template:Pol that replaces Template:Icon.
- New Template:YouTube and Template:Gfycat for embedding videos. See Devstream 158 for sample usage.
- New Template:Audio for a simple inline audio player for .ogg files. See The New War/Transcript for sample usage.
- New Template:Navigation for creating simple navigation bars on the top of pages, similar to Template:Top but more generic.
- New Template:Advantages and Template:Disadvantages for standardizing how we determine weapon stat advantages and disadvantages. Uses data from Module:Weapons/ppdata.
- Removal of text like "Innate X damage - (less) effective against X health/shield/armor type" since realistically speaking, players will mod for the elemental damage effective against the enemies they are fighting so these type distribution (dis)advantages are slightly misleading and unhelpful. In addition, it does not account for proc distribution that may be more desired for procing certain status effects. For example, while it is true that
Impact damage is more effective against Machinery and Shield and is weak against Cloned Flesh and Flesh, high Impact damage distribution may be less desired for builds that rely on
Slash procs for dealing against armored enemies.
- Polarities are not considered an innate advantage now since it is only an advantage for builds that actually make use of said polarity. This nuance removes it from the advantages section and should just be noted as a general characteristic. See https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Twilight053/Common_Mistakes_on_Weapon_Characteristics?commentId=4400000000001895915&replyId=4400000000006041838.
- The descriptive words used to describe certain stats are based on the boundaries for the following percentiles:
90-100% - "Very high" 75-90% - "High" 60-75% - "Above average" 45-60% - "Average", does not display anything 30-45% - "Below average" 15-30% - "Low" 0-15% - "Very low"
- This classification will be used on most Characteristics sections on weapon articles when comparing a weapon's advantages and disadvantages to other weapons in the same domain. For example, launcher weapons will be compared against launchers of the same trigger type and single dagger melees will be compared against other single daggers.
- Why are we automating this process?
- Standardizing how we communicate statistics to readers (is 20% crit chance high or average since you expect to crit every 5th shot? Or is it low because there are many weapons that have a crit chance over 20%?). A while back Discord members settled on a percentile-based system to describe what stats are "very high", "high", "average", "low", or "very low". More details on https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Module:Weapons/ppdata
- Ease of editing. There are over 400 weapons in the game and it is tedious to manually update every relevant weapon page the moment DE releases a weapon with better stats due to power creep. Automating the process via templates/modules using the data stored in https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Module:Weapons/data makes this easier for editors to keep up to date and allow them more time to focus on doing other important things on the wiki.
- Ability to use data directly from Module:Weapons/data which opens up opportunities for expanding this section to include new base/computed stats to compare against
- Removal of text like "Innate X damage - (less) effective against X health/shield/armor type" since realistically speaking, players will mod for the elemental damage effective against the enemies they are fighting so these type distribution (dis)advantages are slightly misleading and unhelpful. In addition, it does not account for proc distribution that may be more desired for procing certain status effects. For example, while it is true that
- Template:Docbunto added for generating documentation pages based on LuaDoc tokens in code. For use on
/doc
subpages in the Module namespace - Navigation box templates:
- Top navigation templates switched to flexbox containers for responsive and portable design:
- Visual changes to inline block cells Template:MarketBox and Template:SynOfferBoxVC.
Fandom Forums[]
- Removed legacy categories from the time /d/ Discussion Boards were supported by Fandom (over two years ago). RIP Doudich's Garlic. These are now merged to current categories used by /f/ https://warframe.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000003555581

TK-999 SicIuvatIreSubUmbras#1273 November 9, 2021 6:23 PM (PST) twitch decided they do not want us embedding their content unfortunately they have refused to change their mind we will be providing a disclaimer when you try to embed something from twitch to clarify that TK-999 SicIuvatIreSubUmbras#1273 November 9, 2021 6:24 PM (PST) well twitch blocked the entire fandom.com domain and didn't reconsider TK-999 SicIuvatIreSubUmbras#1273 November 9, 2021 6:26 PM (PST) I don't know in what context twitch made the decision they made, but I do not think "rivalry" was a factor could've been anything from too many embeds/too much traffic/wanting to drive people to view content on twitch directly or whatever
