Every 15s spits out a maggot that latches onto the nearest enemy, drawing fire from those within 40m. On death, the maggot bursts, dealing 100% of accumulated damage Viral Damage (+40% damage if the enemy dies while latched) to those within 10m.

Volatile Parasite is a mod for Predasites that grants them the ability to spawn maggots that home on enemies and explode, dealing  Viral damage.

Acquisition

The mod can be bought from Son for 10,000 Standing 10,000 after reaching Friend with the Entrati.

Notes

• Maggots have increased Threat Level, drawing fire away from both the Predasite and its master.
• If maggots are not latched onto enemies, they will explode after a period of time.
