The Vessels are unfinished experiments of the prominent IconOrokinOn Orokin scientist, Albrecht Entrati.

Overview[]

The Vessels are titanic, bio-mechanical, humanoid automatons that lay unfinished within Albrecht's Laboratories under Deimos. One of Albrecht's last experiments before his disappearance, these simulacra were created as a last resort to defend the Origin System from the eldritch forces of the Indifference.

Despite their seemingly inert state, the Vessels' heartbeats and breathing can be heard while exploring the labs. A constant reminder that they are indeed alive.

The Vessels appear to be large-scale replicas of the human body, complete with functioning internal organs such as brains and blood vessels. Similar to the Warframes, they were cultivated from a unique Infestation w Infested Strain, this one being the Grey Strain.

Albrecht's Notes[]

Main article: Fragments/Albrecht

After traveling to the year 1999, Albrecht returned with samples from his Helminth-infused volunteers, and began to study and cultivate them within his Labs under Deimos. As the moon was overrun with the Infestation w Infested Grey Strain, Albrecht's assistant Loid pointed out how the Strain stimulates the growth of the afflicted, causing them to grow to monstrous dimensions.

With this new source of inspiration, Albrecht experimented with combining both the Grey Strain and samples from Arthur and Aoi together. Using precise biochemical engineering, combined with the anatomical perfection of Ballas' warframes, along with the titanic potency of the Grey Strain and the humanity of the Protoframe, Arthur, he created the equivalents of warframes, but to a titanic scale; constructs which could stand a chance against The Man in the Wall and its eldritch forces, assuming an Operator could be found to pilot them.

Whispers in the Walls[]

While most of the Vessels currently remain unfinished, they are still used to access parts of the Labs, with one having its head converted into a teleporter. While presumably meant to actually physically battle The Man in the Wall's wall-form directly, the Vessels proved capable of pacifying another Void-corrupted Vessel not with violence, but by recreating a moment of tenderness between Loid and Albrecht.
