- From May 26th, 2020 to September 29th, 2020, Vasto Prime emerged from the Vault along with Trinity Prime, Nova Prime, Dual Kamas Prime, and Soma Prime.
Notes[]
Incarnon Genesis[]
- Upon completion of The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path, players can earn Vasto Incarnon Genesis from The Circuit's Steel Path to place on their Vasto with the help of Cavalero in the Chrysalith. This Incarnon Genesis form grants it evolutions to a transformation and newfound strength.
Evolution[]
- Installing the Vasto Incarnon Genesis requires 20 Pathos Clamps, 70 Yao Shrub, and 150 Saggen Pearl.
- When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;
- Each challenge additionally grants 5,000 affinity to the weapon, affected by Affinity Boosters.
Evolution I[]
- Headshots charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
- Rapidly empty a full magazine.
- Incarnon Form transforms into a 6-round burst with increased Critical Chance and Critical Multiplier. However, it has reduced base damage and Status Chance per bullet, has significantly higher Recoil, and cannot Zoom.
- Mode switching is not instantaneous and has an animation equal to the weapon's reload speed.
- Incarnon Form is activated by filling the Incarnon Transmutation gauge that appears under the reticule by achieving headshots and then pressing the Alternate Fire button. 8 headshots will completely fill the gauge. A full gauge is not required to activate Incarnon Form.
- Charges generate only on headshots, and not other weakspots, such as the backpacks of most MOA variants. Similarly, shooting weakspots generated by either Sonar or Detect Vulnerability in places other than heads will have no effect either.
- Headshots on corpses do not build charges.
- Individual Multishot bullets can build charges.
- Instead of drawing ammunition from its reserves, the Vasto's Incarnon Form uses a separate "magazine" with each charge producing 3 rounds to a maximum of 24. Once all ammunition is expended, the Vasto reverts to its normal form.
- Due to its 6-round burst, Incarnon Form expends all its ammo after a maximum of 4 bursts from a full gauge.
- Bursts can be interrupted by rolling to avoid wasting ammo.
- Incarnon Form's magazine is not affected by mods.
- Incarnon Form is not affected by Ammo Efficiency (such as Energized Munitions).
- Charges and Incarnon Form persists through all activities, such as holstering, bleedout, or being disarmed. However, charges and Incarnon Form are removed upon death.
- Due to its 6-round burst, Incarnon Form expends all its ammo after a maximum of 4 bursts from a full gauge.
- Swapping to and from Incarnon Form will fully reload the normal form's magazine.

- On Headshot: +100% Ammo Efficiency for 2s.

Tips[]
- The Vasto Prime has a high chance of cutting corpses into pieces, making it ideal for a Desecrating Nekros to bring along, as the game considers the cut corpses as separate entities, essentially giving multiple corpses to desecrate from a single enemy and thus yielding more chances to create more drops.
- Due to its incarnon form using the burst trigger, it cannot use Semi-Pistol Cannonade.
Trivia[]
- The Vasto Prime was one of the first Prime items which had colorable gold parts. This trait is shared with the Soma Prime, Nova Prime and the Pyra Prime Syandana.
- Since Update 15.13 (2015-02-05), several other Prime items have since had this trait implemented.
- With the introduction of Damage 2.0, the original Vasto along with Akvasto became able to cut enemies due to its overwhelming slash damage. The Vasto Prime inherited this trait.
- The Vasto Prime also bears a striking visual resemblance to the Enouy Revolver.

Patch History[]
Update 32.2 (2022-11-30)
- SEMI-AUTOMATIC WEAPON CHANGES
While reviewing the stats of some weapons with a semi-automatic mode, we noticed that certain weapons had an unsustainably high fire rate for most players. We adjusted the stats of the following semi-automatic weapons whose maximum potential was only being reached with the use of macros (to learn more about third-party use in Warframe visit our support article). Since not everyone is an avid macro user (within the boundaries allowed), we lowered fire rates to a more humanly achievable level and improved their damage or reload stats to compensate.
