Vasto Incarnon Genesis is an item that is used to add Incarnon upgrades to the Vasto or Vasto Prime.
Acquisition[]
- Upon completion of The Duviri Paradox and Angels of the Zariman, and unlocking The Steel Path, players can earn Vasto Incarnon Genesis from The Circuit's Steel Path to place on their Vasto with the help of Cavalero in the Chrysalith. This Incarnon Genesis form grants it evolutions to a transformation and newfound strength.

- Installing the Vasto Incarnon Genesis requires 20 Pathos Clamps, 70 Yao Shrub, and 150 Saggen Pearl.
- When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;
- Each challenge additionally grants 5,000 affinity to the weapon, affected by Affinity Boosters.
Evolution I[]
- Weakpoint hits charge Incarnon Transmutation; Alt Fire transmutes. Switching back will expend any remaining charge.
- Rapidly empty a full magazine.
- Incarnon Form transforms into a 6-round burst with increased Critical Chance and Critical Multiplier. However, it has reduced base damage and Status Chance per bullet, has significantly higher Recoil, and cannot Zoom.
- Mode switching is not instantaneous and has an animation equal to the weapon's reload speed.
- Incarnon Form is activated by filling the Incarnon Transmutation gauge that appears under the reticule by achieving weakpoint hits and then pressing the Alternate Fire button. 8 weakpoints will completely fill the gauge. A full gauge is not required to activate Incarnon Form.
- Charges do not generate on the backpacks of most MOA variants, or vulnerability spots generated by Sonar or Detect Vulnerability in places other than actual weakpoints.
- Weakpoints on corpses or Invulnerable targets do not build charges.
- Individual Multishot bullets can build charges.
- Instead of drawing ammunition from its reserves, the Vasto's Incarnon Form uses a separate "magazine" with each charge producing 3 rounds to a maximum of 24. Once all ammunition is expended, the Vasto reverts to its normal form.
- Due to its 6-round burst, Incarnon Form expends all its ammo after a maximum of 4 bursts from a full gauge.
- Bursts can be interrupted by rolling to avoid wasting ammo.
- Incarnon Form's magazine is not affected by mods.
- Incarnon Form is not affected by Ammo Efficiency (such as Energized Munitions).
- Charges and Incarnon Form persists through all activities, such as holstering, bleedout, or being disarmed. However, charges and Incarnon Form are removed upon death.
- Due to its 6-round burst, Incarnon Form expends all its ammo after a maximum of 4 bursts from a full gauge.
- Swapping to and from Incarnon Form will fully reload the normal form's magazine.

- Unlock Challenge: Complete a solo mission with this weapon equipped.
- Perk 1: Lone Gun:
- Increase Damage by +66 (Vasto) / +24 (Prime).
- Damage increase is applied to each bullet in Incarnon Form, increasing damage by +396 (Vasto) / +144 (Prime).
- With No Primary Equipped:
- Increase Damage by +40
- Increase Magazine Capacity by +14.
- Increased Magazine Capacity does not affect Incarnon Form.
- Increase Damage by +66 (Vasto) / +24 (Prime).
- Perk 2: Deathtrap Trigger:
- Increase Damage by +66 (Vasto) / +24 (Prime).
- Damage increase is applied to each bullet in Incarnon Form, increasing damage by +396 (Vasto) / +144 (Prime).
- On Equip From Primary:
- Increase Critical Chance by +30% for 3s.
- Increase Critical Damage Multiplier by +2.2x (Vasto) / +0.8x (Prime) for 3s.
- Increase Damage by +66 (Vasto) / +24 (Prime).
Evolution III[]
- Unlock Challenge: Kill 100 enemies with this weapon's Incarnon Form.
- Perk 1: Extended Volley:
- Increase Magazine Capacity by +6.
- Does not apply to Incarnon Form.
- Increase Magazine Capacity by +6.
- Perk 2: Marksman's Hand:
- -50% Weapon Recoil.
- Perk 3: Awakened Readiness:
- +20% Magazine Reloaded per second when Holstered.
- Does not apply to Incarnon Form's Magazine.
- +20% Magazine Reloaded per second when Holstered.
Evolution IV[]
- Unlock Challenge: Kill 30 enemies while airborne.
- Perk 1: Commodore's Fortune:
- Increase Critical Chance by +16% (Vasto) / +18% (Prime).
- Perk 2: Survivor's Edge:
- Increase Critical Chance by +10%.
- Increase Status Chance by +10%.
- Status Chance increase for Incarnon Form is divided by the innate multishot, leading to a base Status Chance increase from 2.67% (Vasto) / 6.67% (Prime) to 4.34% (Vasto) / 8.34% (Prime).
- Perk 3: Reaper's Plenty:
- On Headshot: +100% Ammo Efficiency for 2s.
- Does not apply to Incarnon Form.
- On Headshot: +100% Ammo Efficiency for 2s.
