Vasca Kavat

When out in the plains during the night cycle, wild Vasca will spawn in, usually in a pack of 3-6, if you encounter these packs and have a Kavat equipped, when your Kavat is attacked by said wild Vasca they will infect your Kavat with the Vasca virus, signs of infection is a red pulse overlay on your Kavat, infection time is unknown currently.

CODEX

A drinker of life, this Kavat prowls the Plains upon dusk.

Draining Bite
Deals x/x/x/400 damage and restores 10% health to the kavat.

Transfusion
When its master is bleeding out, the Vasca Kavat sacrifices x/x/x/20% of its health to raise them.

If you do not wish to have the Infection on your feline friend you are in luck. Mast Teasonai, on cetus, holds the cure 500 Standing

Acquisition

A Vasca Kavats can be acquired by using Genetic Code Templates.
To obtain Vasca Kavat Genetic Code Templates you will need the following:

1. 2 Kavat 's
2. 2 Genetic Code Templates
3. Stasis Slot
4. 10 Kavat Genetic Code
5. Incubator Power Core

1. Vasca Kavat Lure

Head to the Plains of Eidolon at night time with Kavat A equiped. Either run around the Plains to find a pack of Vasca Kavat's, normally seen in a pack of 3 to 6 Vasca's, and have them beat your Kavat to near death. This is the process of "infecting" your Kavat with the Vasca strain. You know when your Kavat has been infected by the red glow it will have.

Infected Kavat

If you do not want to go running around, equip your lure and do the Conservation route but make sure your kavat is glowing red before you tranq it. Clear out surrounding enimies from the Calling spot due to the Vasca easily targeting other enimies and dying.

Once your first Kavat is glowing red go back to your orbiter and put the infected Kavat into stasis. Putting the infected Kavat into Stasis will not remove the infected status. This also makes it easier so instead of Rushing/Waiting for the templete to complete you can equip your next Kavat and repeat.

Once you have two infected Kavat's use the genetic template on them. Infection only has 1 use so if you wish to get more Vasca Kavat's you will need to repeat the proccess (I am unaware if you can use a gentic code on your Vasca Kavat as I do not own one yet) After you have 2 Genetic Templates from your 2 infeceted Kavat's, start up the Kavat Breeding. Naturally you will need to select your two Infected Templates. After the birthing process is done you will now have a Vasca Kavat.

Conservation

Along side getting your new Vampire Feline friend there is also Vasca Kavat Floof's to aquire. Master Teasoni, in Cetus, sells the Vasca Kavat Lure for 3000 Standing as well as Vasca Kavat Pheromone for 200 Standing. As said before, once finding the Echo location clear out all hostile mobs from the area. The Vasca likes to change targets to a hostile and can lose its life. You CAN hunt for Vasca floof's during the day - This could possibly be changed as it does seem to be the Vasca is a Nocturnal animal (as stated in voice lines)
