The Valkyr Gersemi Skin is an upcoming limited-edition Premium Skin for Valkyr teased in Devstream 53,[1] which will visually restore Valkyr to her original appearance prior to the Zanuka Project.

Notes
- According to Animation Director Geoff Crookes, the Valkyr Gersemi Skin should likely be compatible with Valkyr's Bonds.[2]
- This may not be entirely true, however, as the bonds attach directly to Valkyr's restraints, something which the skin is distinctly lacking.
Trivia
- Gersemi is derived from the Old Norse word gørsimi, which means "treasure" or "jewel".
- In Norse mythology, Gersemi is the daughter of Freya and Odr, and is considered the Goddess of precious objects, as befitting her name.
- The skin's accompanying helmet was partially live-sculpted during Devstream 56 by Art Director Mike "Mynki" Brennan.[3]
- The skin's patterns and default colors are strongly reminiscent to that of Alad V's Zanuka, which coupled with Valkyr's current appearance, implies that the Zanuka's skin was taken from Valkyr herself.
- The Gersemi skin was previously known as the Pre-Corpus skin.
