WARFRAME Wiki

So, I don't know if anybody has figured this out yet, but I brushed up at the Story and History section, full of dusty and ancient knowledge goodnessstuff, and I had just came from reading ExcalibroPrimus' description in the Codex, and something hit me.

"The Sentients had won. They had turned our weapons, our technology, against us. The more advanced we became, the greater our losses. The war was over unless we found a new way. In our desperation we turned to the Void. The blinding night, the hellspace where our science and reason failed.
We took the twisted few that had returned from that place. We built a frame around them, a conduit of their affliction. Gave them the weapons of the old ways. Gun and blade. A new warrior, a new code was born. These rejects, These tenno, became our saviors. Warrior-Gods cast in steel and fury striking our enemies in a way they could never comprehend.
Excalibur was the first."

This is off to me, in a sense. I'm not sure if this is in the page for lore, but The Sentients are mentioned separately from the Tenno, and furthermore, our freak-of-nature friends and ninjas are actully created for THE SOLE PURPOSE of striking The Sentients in the face with a nice, cold, hard brick. So The Sentients are NOT the Tenno mentioned in the downfall. The Tenno betrayed them later, as stated in the Stalker's emopoem .

"Some have walked these desolate worlds while you have slept. Some like me. I remember what you did. I remember the day.
The Tenno appeared at the Terminus, gleaming and victorious. Our cold and gold Emperors, breathless, bathed you in savior's silk. Then came the sound. Across all our worlds, all at once, the ceremonial Naga drums. A royal salute to the honored Tenno. Ten solemn beats to declare the suffering was over. I watched from a distance, with the rest of the low Guardians. With each beat terror began to crush my throat. The Tenno were not stoic and silent. They were waiting. They were poised. I tried to call out but only a strangled whisper escaped.
When the ninth beat rang a torrent of blood filled the stadium, loosed by Tenno blades. The drums, the Empire, fell silent forever.
Now I hunt, dividing your numbers. Watching from that dark place, cataloging your sins, I am the ghost of retribution. You may forget but you are not innocent."

Great. So, this guy isn't just some creep, as my other blog post makes him out to be. The Tenno came to the Terminus (First map on Mercury, you can even check for yourself with my convenient link!), where the coldengolden emperors, which are obviously Orokin (they love gold-trimmed stuff, and we are currently assuming they are AI or synthetics) praised them and loved them for winning the battle against The Sentients mentioned in the BroPrime text. Now, the Tenno weren't just bathing in glory and prettysilks, but rather getting ready to strike down the Orokin, where Stalkerman couldn't muster enough voice to warn them. Now, what confuses me is if the blood is real, which leads to way too many possible choices:

A - The Orokins are not synthetics, or at least fully synthetic.

B - Akin to the previous choice, the Orokins may have blood, but are still synthetic (Oil! Ha!)

C - The "blood" is figurative, and just means that an Orokin "life" was taken at the Terminusstadiumthing.

D - The Orokin are totally organic, and we're fooling ourselves.

E - All of the above.

D - None of the above.

F - Some of the above.

G - AND MANY MOOOOORRRRRREEEEEEEE...

Brushing aside this controversy, they decimated our Orokinbuddies, and the Stalker got super bitter over this, and is now the guy who kills your face whenever you poke not-fun at a boss. This creates the big question of "who's the baddie here?", or at least who's the bigger of two evils.

Back to PrimeBroEx's stuff. Take a look. They turned to the void, and took the twisted few that had returned from that place. Now THIS opens up plenty of options here.

The Tenno, are, in reality, people of currently unknown faction, who had been taken to/sent to/exiled to/born in/come from/etcetcetc/yeah from the Void. Now, the Void doesn't seem to belong to the Orokin in originality, and the prettypotatoships they have there are probably not the "real" Void we speak of. God knows whats in our friendly neighborhood HELLSPACE that makes even our coldengolden emperors fear it, but it makes people into monsters. Now, I'm putting my bucks on this Void as the origin for the common tabletop Technocyte virus that appears to have been inflicted on each and every Tenno, in order to let them control the Warframes. These frames couldn't be run by anybody, not even our coldengolden friends here. They needed some voluntolds from the Voidasylum rejects to don these fancy suits made of godknowswhat. The reason why the Tenno overthrew the Orokin becomes far more blurred to me here.

Also, "the old ways" are gun and blade, which does suggest this is WAY FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR FREAS FRIES past our good old Hayden days, if the remixed concept of Dark Sector even still correlates with Warframe.

Now, I could probably think of some more lorestuffs to add, but I'm going to stop here, so feel free to have a REASONABLE and HEALTHY (no cancer) debate in the comments, where I can add more speculation and stuffs that I feel are reasonable to extents.  Also, let me know about anything you disagree on, so I can argue it with you, and myself, until we decide on something.

Have some polls. With love.

Have fun, shower me with love/hate in the comments, expecting more hate than love, but keep it to an intelligent and cohesive level. Thanks for reading my jab-your-wonky.
