So instead of making a new blog every 5 seconds (which is against the rules, actually) when i become interested in something new, i've decided to compile it all into a single blog which i shall (hopefully) update regularly. Henceforth, this blog shall be known as "pew pew, the compilation"

pew pew: the epic saga

pew pew insta-kill

Okay so covert lethality was nerfed into oblivion and now I'm sad ;c  Yes, it was overpowered, and yes, it needed a nerf, but you can't blame me for wanting an instant kill.  So on todays episode of I talk about things, I'm going to attempt to find either: A, an instant kill. B, something that can kill any enemy in a certain amount of hits. or C, infinitely scaleable damage.  Okay so I already found all three so enjoy.

Okay so we have two contenders for A, Grendel and Garuda.

Grendel eat, Grendel jump in void. Boom u are die.

Garuda punches them in the face till they go under 40% hp, use ability, die.

So obviously grendel would be the winner, right? I mean, instant kill vs. effort and THEN instant kill, exceeppptttttt Grendel can't get the loot from killing them. so not the best, but still pretty good.  Garuda on the other hand, gets the loot but still needs to do effort.

Grendel wins, effort is too much effort.

Alright so I'm still testing two of these but here you go.

First up we have Trinity, who at max ability strONk her EV does 21% of an enemies remaining hp as tru dmg, wich bypasses shield and armor, but if the enemies hp gets under 25% of it's max hp it instead does 21% of 25% of the max hp.  Basically, EV can kill any enemy in 8 hits or less (if growing power or energy conversion are used it may be less).

Secondly we have big boi Oberon, who I'm still not sure about, as his smite does SOME dmg but then the balls it releases do 35% of the original targets max hp, so 3 hit kill, right?  Wrong.  As far as i can tell, the balls only hit other enemies, which is still pretty good, but they could be different enemies or levels, so it's not a confirmed number of hits, although there might be a way to get the balls to hit the og dude.

Alrighty so we have Frost too, his snowglobe has the capacity to do up to 50% of targets max hp on cast if they hit a wall as they're flung back, but the wiki doesn't say what the criteria for getting up to 50% is, it just says that it CAN get up to 50%, and i'm pretty sure it's dependant of how hard they hit the wall, but that's still not guaranteed.

oh and we also have Revenant, who is possibly the best one, his 3rd ability is... bad. By itself, that is. It does drains 8% of enemy MAX hp, and 8% of enemy max shield. Buuuuuuuuuut, it can be redeemed. 1, the wiki says the drain IS affected by ability strOnk, but then both WF builder and even the wiki maximization bit for the ability contradict this, so i'm gonna say it was a typo. So why is it still one of the best? Because it does 40% of max hp when the enemy is enthralled, so 3 hit kill on ANY enemy that can be enthralled. (post edit: more on him later winky face)

spoiler alert, trinitoe wins, very gud ability

As far as I can tell, there's only 1 truly infinite dmg person (post edit: 2 actually), and they're probs gonna be nerfed soon (it's nerf or nothing - DE), however a certain comment person (thanks XGalvinorX <3) has convinced me to add octavia to this category, so enjoy!

Gara is.. STRROOONNKK.  She kinda has an ability that can scale dmg from other abilities to an infinite amount and also can renew it's duration from another ability.  It's kinda complicated so you might wanna check out her page, but anyway, onto the next!

garuda, who shares a similar name to our old glass buddy friend here, is a bit of an absolute step-on-lego. Why do i say this? Well, not because her abilites are annoying or anything, i say this because i was confused by her. *backstory time* So, when i was first looking at every single warframe's abilities for instant kills, i stumbled across garuda. I saw her first ability, i saw the "instantly kill" in it. I was happy. I saw the "..when the targets health is below 40%" i was sad. So, i added her to the first category for a kinda insta kill.  But just now, i came back to her and re-read her ability. Oh my lord, it does 10% of an enemy's max hp! This is amazing! and theeennn i saw the bit saying it was affected by shields and armor. Yaaayyy. so, i was sad again. then, i came back to her page AGAIN and re-read the ability. I finally took the time to understand how her ability works and i was amazed. She wasn't just an A, she was a C too! Her heart thing absorbed damage AND lasted forever! Woohoo! and this time i was no longer sad.

So, moral of the story? understand how things work before posting about them

and yes i am glaring at myself in a mirror right now.

She's the fricken best warframe ever.

Why do i say that? Well, uh

Well first, she can literally do anything, she can do spy missions with invis, she can do defense with mallet and her 4, she can do survival with all of those, and her roller ball literally does NOTHING. IT IS USELESS. ABSOLUTE WASTE. I HATE IT. ARGHH

okay but seriously i don't see the point of it, it does a *KINDA* cool effect by it's own, but it ruins your 1's scalability when you place both at the same time, and it doesn't really do much else.

and secondly, SHE CAN PLAY MUSIC!!!!!!!!! and it's pretty limited. But, she did make way for the shawzin to shine, and you can even use her to aid your shawzin skills.

nevermind, i'm removing octavia and putting in shawzin in her place. Why? BECAUSE MUSIC!!

okay rant over, now onto her actual scaling. her 1 does more dmg based on the dmg done to it, but unfortunately, the ability can't last forever, so limited time, but WAAAYY faster scaling.

p.s. it also attracts enemy aggro, so they try to shoot at it.

and the winner is.. SHAWZIN!!

sick beats are more valuable than an insta kill dood

you may be thinking: WHAAAATT!?!?!?!?! D??? YOU SAID THERE WERE ONLY 3!! AHGHGHGHGGHGHG

okay, well maybe not but anyway, i decided to give inaros his own special little category, for two main reasons,

1. he was my first warframe that i actually used and liked (alot), and may have even been my second warframe after starter, so i definitely have a bond with him, <3

2. because his ability categorizes similar to A B and C, but a bit differently, so why not D?

anyway, here goes everything:

well first up we have resident sand man, inaros.

inaros, he's like grendel,

he eats small children

anyway that eating isnt an INSTANT kill, probably not even a fast kill, but it is a guaranteed kill, as once you start devouring, literally nothing can stop you, and it deals true dmg which bypasses armor. So, he a slow boi but he'll get there eventually.

oh and i also later decided to add saryn to this, as she also does the same thing with her spores, they last forever AND do corrosive so they strip armor and it's pretty gosh darn cool if i do say so myself

gotta say, saryn wins (SORRY INAROOOSS)

Honorable mentions

magus lockdown should be in here too i suppose (thanks for the suggestion sir lone tenno 2A01:E35:2E09:4A00:91A1:609D:C099:DC24 (p.s. get an account) )

if you equip it

it does 60% of the enemys hp as puncture dmg when you do a void dash as operator, but you can equip 2 of them to do 120%, so instant kill, RIIIIIGGHT? Right. Wrong. No it isn't. Again, puncture dmg, not trU dmg, but still an alright method, if not the best.

also, shoutout to all the insanely cool people who actually bothered reading and commenting on mah blog :DD

The end.

I might edit this in like a year if I find anything else.  K bai.

pew pew 2: electric boogaloo

UPDATE: i did the stuff and got the mods and reveboi and all that and heck ye it works, pretty damn snazzy if i do say so myself. i just hope it doesn't get changed lol

welcome back to another episode of me talking about things!

As a few of you may know, i'm a bit obsessed with instant killing, because pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft imagine doing actual work to kill things amirite?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Well, anyways my old blog got a bit cluttered and long, so i've started a new one, "pew pew: the sequel"

In this one, i'm mainly going to be talking about instant kills that actually WORK, but you can go check out my old one if you wanna.

So, first up, we got the man, the man, the guy...

now, i feel like a lot of people don't like revenant, and i can't be bothered to find out why, so instead i figured out how to "insta-kill" any enemy in the game.

step 1. be revenant

step 2. do some modding (will put my build up lateR)

step 3. ???

step 4. prohfeet

alright so how does this work? reave.

reave is the key.

In my old post, i lightly covered revenant and reave, but i didn't find them all that useful, as as far as i could tell, reave wasn't affected by ability strONk, but either i was wrong, or they updated it in the time since then, and now it's a one way ticket to  ̶d̶e̶p̶r̶e̶s̶s̶i̶o̶n̶ INSTA KILL TOWN WOO LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO

so basically, reave drains a small percentage of an enemies hp and gives it to you, but the thing is, although it isn't actually true damage, it functions basically the same, and (kinda) bypasses shields.

at first, i thought this was useless, it drains a whole 8% of their hp. Wooooooowwwwww

but then, i saw the synergy section and it said that it drains 40% of an enemies hp when they're enthralled, and so i looked further, and it said that it WAS affected by stronk, but every other source i could find said otherwise.

tl;dr it wasn't that good

until they changed it

partay time

so i did some calculating and testing in WF builder (you think i'm rich enough to have the actual mods i need?) and you needed 249% stronk to get 100% damage

And ye, i tried getting the normal (not enthralled) dmg high, but it still barely got to 30% with max

now, i haven't tested it in game, but i don't need to:

(p.s. this vid was uploaded in 2018, so i guess it wasn't changed lol)

A sad realization...

i was today years old when i learned that WF enemies.. dont scale forever. i know what you're thinking. isn't that good? well, not really. so, warframe enemies stop scaling at like level 9999 or something, and that limit has only been breached once by a bugged event. This is good, because it means that "instant kill" in possible without some cool, weird, stupid mechanic like true damage and percentages of max hp. This is bad because i am VERY creative when i am limited. Now that i know this, i know this is all for nothing. I don't need garuda infinite damage, or trinity 21% of max hp, or even grendel eating stuff.

All i need is a heck ton of damage.

but people have already done this with a few hits.

i dunno man, it kinda annoys me. I'll update if i find any enemy that scales endlessly. Yes, this blog about finding endless scaling abilities has become about finding endlessly scaling enemies to fight. It's like in megamind when he creates a super-villain for him to fight (i think)

Invincibility 'n stuff

Limbo Stuff™

So, Limbo.

Let's talk about him.

Going into the rift is cool, right? I mean, invincibility at your fingertips, but what if you could actually dmg enemies from within the rift? Well, my mission is to find out!

So far, i havent had much luck, although the Quanta's alt fire seems to be able to destroy containers and such from within the rift.

I do have some leads: The Quanta family seems to have some connection to the rift, as stated above, but i have a feeling the Mutalist Quanta's alt will do something, as of right now, i'm building it, so.. wait for the edit!! i've been told many times that Exodia Contagion (Or the other one, i can never remember which) works through the rift, but i've never been able to get my hands on it, so there's that..

(Yes, most of all abilities do work through the rift, but i'm trying to find stuff like weapons for solo limbo players)

Anyway, thanks for reading, and suggestions are highly appreciated!!                                                                                                                         List of working weapons: Mutalist Quanta (Alt Fire)

Warframe, FPS mode?

so yeah, third person mode is cool and all..

but i think first person mode would be very cool to try.

to be clear, i'm not one of those guys that explicitly wants DE to make wf an fps game or add first person mode, i love the third person mode just as much, but i still think it would be really cool to try and make it myself.

So immediately when i started thinking about this, i started thinking about aiming down weapon sights, which is a good place to start, i reckon.

So, i can add zoom to any weapon and make it *kinda* look like fps, (except the view point is set to the side of the player) but i didn't just want ANY dumb weapon, i had to make it unique and make it immersive. so first of all there were a few hurdles to overcome to do with immersion.

Reloading will break zoom, and thus immersion, and so will jump. other than that everything else (running etc) is optional.

Reloading was easy, i just found all of the weapons that regenerate ammo instead of reloading (cycron, flux rifle and now the basmu).

but after that.. it got a tad harder. Next obstacle was jumping, which is VITAL to traversing missions in warframe.

So, afaik all jumping interrupts aiming, even for just a second.

aaaannd immediately i thought of zephyr's jumping ability. Couldn't find anything on it and aiming anywhere, so i got him myself (took me forever because.. y'know.. laziness)

welp, as you might guess, it didn't work. It interupted aiming, and it sucks.

Back to the drawing board!

So far, i haven't been able to think of anything, but PLEASE leave suggestions in the comments if you can think of any way to jump while aiming.

but i did skip that for the time being, and i tested the zoom, see if it looks good. I got the cycron (more on why later)

and it works! kinda..

So first, i had to turn my FOV all the way down, for added zoom. Then, i leved up the cycron and applied zoom mods.

Moment of truth.. It looks kinda okay! it's quite obvious to tell that the view was set aside and not centered, but thats not important for the time being. I will put up photos later when i can.

Now, the reason why i chose the cycron over the flux rifle..

a feature you may remember, maybe not.

  • drum roll*

dual wielding! I initially thought i might be able to melee while aiming with it, but that didn't work. However, this thing had an added bonus, it changed which hand i used the cycron in! Not only that, but the way i held it, which is closer to the side and looks WAAAYYY better.

For now, that is all i am able to do, but if anyone has any idea on how to make a centered view, instead of to the side over a shoulder, please tell me as that could help tremendously.
