Umbra Mods are special Mods that can only be acquired through The Sacrifice quest, which are enhanced versions of existing mods. They feature the properties of both Prime mods and Set Mods, offering significantly improved stats over their base normal mods, and increasing their overall stats upon equipping the required number of mods. They also possess a second stat that reduces damage taken from Sentient attacks.
Umbra mods have a unique Umbra polarity, whose matching polarity can currently only be found on Excalibur Umbra and the Skiajati.
