Characteristics
This weapon deals Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage.
Advantages:
- Tied with Dex Dakra and dual sword Dark Split-Sword (Heavy Blade) for the second highest base damage of all Dual Swords, behind Twin Krohkur and Dual Kamas Prime.
- Innate Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage – effective against Cloned Flesh, Infested and Infested Flesh.
- Second highest status chance of all melees weapons, behind Lacera, and highest status chance of all dual swords.
- Needs only +150% status chance from mods to reach 100%, doable with three of the following: Drifting Contact, Volcanic Edge, Vicious Frost, Voltaic Strike, and Virulent Scourge.
- Slam Attacks ragdoll enemies and have a high chance to proc Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist..
- Can use the Twin Basolk-exclusive Rift Strike mod.
- Stance slot has Script error: The function "Pol" does not exist. polarity, matches Swirling Tiger stance.
- Innate Script error: The function "Pol" does not exist. polarity slot.
Disadvantages:

Trivia
- When attacking the discs seem to light up and spin, indicating some kind of kinetic charge is used to provide the Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage.
- Basolk appears to be a corruption of Basalt, a type of volcanic rock.
- The Twin Basolk is the first dual melee weapon to use the 'Twin' prefix instead of 'Dual'.
- The Twin Basolk is the sixth weapon after the Redeemer, Tipedo, Panthera, Boltace and Akjagara to require multiple different weapons as crafting requirements.
