An ancient weapon designed by the Entrati. Primary fire siphons life essence from the target to fuel a devastating alt fire. A heavy, oversized automatic rifle with withering fire that delivers rapid heat damage. Alt fire unleashes an arcing projectile that ricochets off surfaces and enemies, exploding every impact.

The Trumna is an Orokin Era weapon created by the Entrati, it is fully automatic explosive rifle that builds charges on kills to allow use of the Alternate Fire, a bouncing grenade.

Acquisition

Trumna is acquired by reaching the Rank of Associate with the Entrati. Father sells the main blueprint for ReputationLarge 5,000 and component blueprints for ReputationLarge 2,500; a total of ReputationLarge 12,500 is needed for all parts. The main blueprint is also offered as a rank-up reward.

Characteristics

This weapon deals primarily Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. and Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage.

Advantages:

  • Innate Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage – effective against Cloned Flesh, Infested, and Infested Flesh.
  • High Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage – effective against shields.
  • Primary fire shoots fully automatic rounds.
  • Alternate Fire activates launches a grenade that bounces multiple times on impact with a surface or an enemy.
    • Highest critical chance of all primary launchers.
    • High critical multiplier.
    • Tied with CorinthPrime Corinth Prime's alt fire for the highest status chance of all primary launchers.
    • Does not use ammo.
    • Shots explode in a 6 meter radius on impact with a surface or enemy.
  • Large magazine size.

Disadvantages:

  • Innate Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage – less effective against Proto Shields.
  • No Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage and Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. damage – less effective against armor and health.
  • Primary Fire:
    • High initial recoil.
    • Explosion inflicts self-stagger.
    • Explosion has linear damage falloff from 100% to 85% from central impact.
  • Alternate Fire:
    • Requires 5 primary fire kills to charge a gauge and cannot fire without a full gauge.
    • Projectile has travel time with heavy arcing.
    • Explosion inflicts self-stagger.
    • Explosion has linear damage falloff from 100% to 60% from central impact.
  • Slowest reload speed of all primary rifles.
  • Low reserve ammo; requires just 2 reloads to fully deplete all ammo reserves.

Notes

  • One main blueprint is required to reach the Rank of Clearance: Odima with the Necraloid.
  • You must also be to the rank of Trusted by Ostron in order to acquire Auroxium Alloy which is required in it's construction.

Tips

  • The strong initial recoil can be reduced with Mod TT 20px Stabilizer.
  • Naturally, the weapon is good against the Infestation on Deimos itself, especially when building for Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. and Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. as the tougher enemies have tough sinew 'armor' as well as being immune to Script error: The function "Proc" does not exist. procs that would normally allow for increased damage.

Trivia

  • 'Trumna' is a Polish word for coffin, coming from the Middle High German word 'Truhe' which means chest.
  • Trumna produces an M1 Garand Ping sound when reloading.
