The Treasurer is a unique Corpus enemy only found on the Corpus Ship tileset. They were introduced in Update 28.0 (2020-06-11) and are the only source for Granum Crowns.

Crowns will only drop after the player has completed The Deadlock Protocol quest.

Behavior

Treasurers will spawn in any mission on the Corpus Ship tileset within 2-4 minutes for non-endless missions and 5-8 minutes for endless missions. When they appear, a transmission will play and the Treasurer will be automatically marked with a red marker. They will constantly run away from the player (similar to capture targets) and deploy various countermeasures in an attempt to distract them. They will teleport out of the mission if not killed within 90 seconds. Before despawning, they will start to glow with a bright white light, indicating that the player has to hurry up to finish them off.

Tactics

• Treasurers have a unique shield that possesses 99% innate Damage Reduction, as well as being not bypassable (such as by damage), making them very resilient to most weapons and abilities. However, once their shield has been depleted they are relatively simple to take down.
• When running away from the player, they drop tether grenades to slow them down.

Notes

• Not affected by  Nekros  Desecrate,  Hydroid's  Pilfering Swarm,  Ivara's  Prowl,  Atlas  Ore Gaze,  Khora's  Pilfering Strangledome and Chesa Kubrow's  Retrieve.
• As of Hotfix 28.0.3 (2020-06-12), to prevent the Granum Crown from being dropped in extraction zones and therefore unreachable, the Treasurer will move away from it if he is within 35 meters. In addition, if the Granum Crown is dropped at the extraction point, it will be teleported to a safe spot.
• and shield bypassing damage do not bypass the Treasurer's shields and deal no damage.

Tips

•  Mesa's  Peacemaker can kill Treasurers quickly.
•  Nyx's  Psychic Bolts at 125% or higher Ability Strength will remove the shield for a few seconds, allowing a rapid kill.
• Using damage appears to be effective against Treasurers.
• procs can be used to slow down Treasurers, making them easier to pursue.

Patch History

Hotfix 28.0.6 (2020-06-24)

• Fixed Treasurers dropping a ‘Granum Crown Cache’ when killed inside of Limbo’s Cataclysm, instead of the intended Granum Crown.

Hotfix 28.0.3 (2020-06-12)

• Granum Crowns dropped by Treasurers are now exempt from ‘loot Abilities’.
  • The Treasurer will drop 1 Granum Crown per player as intended.
• If the Treasurer is within 35 meters of Extraction, he will now turn away and run to the nearest Golden Hand Tribute to avoid dying in the Extraction zone. If by chance a Granum Crown is dropped too close to the Extraction zone, they will now be teleported to a safe place. • Fixed Granum Crown waypoints not extending past its zone.
