  • Ok, its really hard for new players to ge tthe rare resources. Today i tried all dark sector missions espacially defense and survival. Like for 15 min playing no single drop with a nekros... this means for orokin cell, neurodes, neural sensor.

I love to play this game and i understand rare rources need to be hard to farm but the fun is going out of this game. Most older gamers have the advantage of having a lot of resources because of the bugs in the past or because it dropped more in the past.

I think some of warframe gamers agree that it need to drop more. Or am i wrong?

    • Odd but could just be bad RNG. I tend to get one rare on average every 2 4-wave missions of DSD. But dark sectors for me are better for cash or for common resources and mods - I tend to farm rare resources more on the planet nodes themselves, where the drop rate appears to be higher (it's highest on assassinations).

I am happy with the drop rate as it is. It the drops were more frequent, it would take the fun out of working hard for that one last piece of gallium.

    • THey need to balance teh rate of rare resources drop.  I have thousands of control circuits and galium, but I am always struggling to find neurodes and especialy neural sensors

    • SAME HERE gallium got a lot but neural sensor orokin cells and neurodes pain in the ass

    • They are rare for a reason, and there is nothing wrong with the drop rates. If you are that hard up for sensors, then farm where they drop the most: Alad V. If you want cells: Saturn boss or endless missions. Neurodes: Sentients. There is a reason those 3 in particular are rare and why they out of all other resources have crafting recipies. Had you the ability to just go off and pick up a few dozen sensors or cells on a whim in a single mission then people wouldnt be hard pressed at all to work for any of the things that you can build in this game. The rarity of the resources adds to the reward of building the warframe or the weapon. Believe it or not but it is mechanics like that that keep  players in a game like Warframe for the long term.

    • Oh, there's an easy fix for your problem guys, just every night pray to RNGesus and you should be fine.

    • Neithan i Agree

But tell me if you search neurodes here on the wiki page you seem some peopel get 10 pieces in 10 min on a mission i played. i did play 20 mins with a nekros. Nothing they dident have a booster or nekros or anything just a frame like a volt...

And the bosses did also run if i having lucky 1 on evry 3-4 runs.

It should be able to drop after a wave of 15-20 minute you get a small drop of neurodes and neural (3) like you get by orokin cells on defense survival mission. I dont get it why it can work for orokin cells and not for neural, neurodes?

Its just not fair against the new players that they need to farm a lot more for a lot less rare resources. While older members looted picked them up like it whas nothing.

You dont think that older players dont also have bad luck at times, or that new players cant get lucky themselves? It is RNG, pure and simple. It has nothing to do if you are new or not. Ive had days when I got drops like mad, and others where I hardly got any for a time. It is random. Plus, you got to remember that there actually are people that would boast or estimate how many they got at times, so dont take every single number people provide as hard fact.

Orokin cells are specifically given out due to the number of them needed for prime items, with many of the weapons needing 10.

    • It also depends a lot on what you craft and where you play. I prefer gallium-heavy weapons so in my months of playing I find myself with over 300 morphics and no gallium. And I generally don't play the two planets that drop gallium because I prefer other places (just don't like the sealabs at all, hate those maps and Mars almost never drops gallium so not worth it).

Every player has a story like that after a few months. What you play reflects what you have stock of. I'm sure that someone who only excavates on Earth each day will wonder why everyone is complaining about Neurodes being rare. Someone who likes fighting high-level Corpus will wonder why people wail at oxium drop rate.

And that's why the game is set up like that. To force you to go out and play something else, to farm the drops. I hate Corpus missions, but spend a few hours per week running them to get some oxium to drop. I get bored on Mercury, but play it so I get some polymer once per week. And then I go back and do the missions I really enjoy doing and get another ten morphics and more alloy plate than I will ever use.

    • I like evry mission except spy. But i have months that i am farming i looking on youtube on forums etc to ge tthe best spots for neurodes, neural sensor

    • Alad V ends up with the easiest neural sensor drop.

I just hate the saturn boss so I run draco (they drop on ceres too) to get my Orokin cells. Other than that some of the towers actually drop them so just run those.
