I buy one of the DLC kits from steam that gives platinum that you can't trade. So after buying some stuff, I'm left with 100 in non-tradable platinum.
Then I buy 75 platinum from the website that I can trade with people, so now I have a total of 175P.
My question is; does the game distinguish these? Like if I buy a blue potato from the store worth 20P, does it deduct from the tradable or non-tradable platinum first? And is there a way to know how much I exactly have in each when I trade stuff?
Are you sure about that? I once read that you can only select the tradeable plat in the trading menu. So that way, you would actually see the amount. I have not been able to test that myself yet, though.
nontradeable plat is still visible in the trade menu when selecting plat; however, you will not be able to add it to the trade amount. ex: if I have 20 in tradeable plat and 20 in nontradeable plat, when I am selecting platinum amounts to trade i will see 40 plat in total but will only be able to select up to 20.
When you trade with someone (and are giving plat), you can click the arrow on the far right. This will put your platinum offer up to the greatest amount you are able to offer, and it essentially tells you how much trading plat you have. This is the only way I have found so far, but it works
