  • Please either add argon crystals to the market or make them easier to farm. I have 187 hours of game play so far, a large portion of that in the void looking for argon crystals (ever sense earth and acquiring a hydroid chassis), and in all that time I’ve only found 3! I have multiple prime weapons and frames now but still no hydroid or amprex due to the impossibility of acquiring argon crystals. It's very frustrating please fix this... please...

    • farm corrupted vor 50/50 chance to get a crystal.

farm survival t1-4 10 in 20 minutes. and remember they only exist 24hours in your inventory

    • I've tried orokin defense, in fact thats my mainstay for when I'm attempting to farm argon crystals. I've payed a minimum of 50 tower 1 and 2 orokin defense missions, often joining one in the recruiting tab when I run out of keys. I usually stay 15 to 25 rounds and only 1 of the 3 argon crystals I’ve acquired came from orokin def (I don't remember were the other 2 came from). But I assumed that was normal, does that mean there is something wrong with my game?

Also I will try farming corrupted vor, but I don't have many tower 4 keys.

      Thanks

    • open all caches / vaults / and have a bit of luck

I usually rack up about 3 to 4 whenever i spend an hour in the void. Higher tier keys yield more chance for them to drop, but chance isn't guaranteed...

Did 45 minutes of t2 survival before getting fed up. I got one crystal as I was leaving.

    • I've seen this issue as well seems like the drop chance has changed in the void currently I can only aquire argon from vor

    • leave your argon crystal to decay and you will gain double or triple the amount once the countdown is over.

Yea... no. That isnt how it works at all. There is no boost to gaining Argon once you run out of it, thats just the normal drop rate for Argon and you are now noticing it.

    • Lone Tenno above is correct. Apparently at random times, at midnight, your Argon will multiply. I twice had my crystals triple when the server reset, all of them decaying, but a bonanza for building random stuff I needed. It's not an increase in the drop rate, it's the actual number of crystals in inventory.

    • Happened to me too, thought I was losing my mind and didn't remember acquiring them! I had 1 or 2 and then the next day I did a run and got 1 crystal, checked my inventory and I now had 7!

I wonder if there is a reliable way to reproduce this. The people who have worked it out are probably too wise to reveal the secret since it would be swiftly patched if made public.

    • i have a similar issue with forma and some other materials that are much less rare it seems that sometimes not only do they not spawn in missions at all even if farming for several hours at a time. one example is a plant on earth used to create antitoxins, it's night variant can spawn but the day one does not appear under any situation)

It is pure RNG, nothing more. Ive had plenty of all 4 of the plant variants spawn with no problem.
