Ember's fire abilities make (her) very effective against the Infested.
so its clear to me its a female
Wha...wha? I don't see how the phrasing of this led to Ember, he said "not a female" - maybe he means Limbo or something?
Anyway, tits, Ember has the second smallest and is easily a B or a C cup, Nova has the smallest - but nobody question's Nova's femininity, in fact she seems to be a lot of guy's favorite female frame. Ember, on the other hand, has considerably less girly, more agressive animations than the other female frames, though honestly this fits her millitary background. Ember is clearly female, it's not her gender that's unclear but her...well, Ember probably likes Nova best, too, if you know what I mean?
You may notice that this discussion began before Limbo was even a thing. Also Ember has no "Military background" at all, other than the same military background every single Tenno in existence had under the Orokin.
I love how people keep referring Warframes as actual living beings. WARFRAMES are the exosuits that TENNO wear. In this case, EMBER is a exosuit worn by female TENNOs!
People, do not feed the baby trolls. Let them starve.
so.. he's saying that ember boobs have abs? muscular boobs op..
and true warframes are suits, saying that ember is a boy or a girl is like tryng to guess the sex of the angels.. (maybe its a boy inside with a suit with boobs..?? .. xD ).
unless further in Warframe we'll be able to change the Warframe gender?
But ya, now i'd like to see a male Ember... XD
Now, I'd like to make a large and well reasoned arguement on why the Warframes should be genderless, but after considering it for a while I realised that many people would probably try to assume their genders anyway, with most of the conclusions probably ending at male unless given substantial evidence to suggest otherwise. So for now, powerful female frames make me pretty happy.
I would like Warframe to remain how it is. I like it when people don't make sexes an issue, because it shouldn't be one. Half of my main frames: Zephyr and Mesa (yes, she may be new, but I love her to death) are female, and I really don't care. Maybe I am too utilitarianand rely too much on logos, or maybe I don't rely on pathos enough, but I don't see why other people should care about the sexes of warframes.
On another note, I doubt DE will do allow genderswapping due to work required. If they were to pursue it, they would need to develop 20+ new character models and even more instances for every single attachment and helm for every single frame. From there, they would have to release all of this at once because releasing the new models and such gradually would not be tolerated by the community (remember the immortal skins and the "we need a second alternative helm" sentiments?). This would be a massive undertaking that would halt all new development requiring the art and modeling departments allocated to the Warframe project. The products would have to be of high quality (they cannot just strap boobs onto Rhino and call it a day) as to minimize, not eliminate, the "ruining their favorite warframe" and "I could have done a better job" flak from players. All of this would take a lot of time and money to "fix" an important game development decision that was made early on... What I am saying is that it is more trouble than it is worth, and will freeze any new visual content. As such, their time and money would be best spent on bug fixing and new content development.
