Haven't had time to edit this recently, will get around to it eventually. Just pretend it's up to date. Doing some tweaks now, though this message becomes irrelevant in a few days. Whoops. If I missed updating something, my bad. I'll fix it next year when I come back to do anything else.
Currently slated is Trinidad Primo. Prepare yourselves, Trinity mains and the likes. Everyone else? The line's still here. Make yourself cozy.
Before I start, this isn't about who I personally want as the next prime. I'm going to try and keep this at a perfectly neutral standpoint (which may or may not fail).
Most of this "evidence" still draws for conclusions made off of patterns, not actual confirmations from DE or any related officials.
So, after all of the "I want Ash Prime!" or "I want Nova Prime!" or "Valkyr has to be a Vandal, uw0tm8" stuff, I decided I want to give a shot at this, to see if I can personally draw anything out of this.
Let's start with history of Primes.
Exalibur Prime > Frost Prime > Mag Prime > Ember Prime > Rhino Prime > Loki Prime > Nyx Prime > Nova Prime > Volt Prime > Ash Prime > Trinity Prime.
It's pretty much established that the order goes in Male, male, female female. By this means, after Tringlediddly, we're going to get another female 'Frame to choose from.
Before we continue, another thing to note is that there isn't really an exact order that they're going about here. Vaguely, it goes from oldest > newest, though not exact. Another factor that falls into place is the popularity of said 'Frame. Finally, it lands with whatever the design team wants (Mynki does what he pleases!) to do at the time. This has been effectively proven with the addition of Nueve Primo, who cheekily skipped over the entire seniority list and cut the line through her absolute popularity at the moment (despite taking a few beatings from the nerfbat). Well, Mynki does what he pleases.
I'm going to draw the list of who's left for this.
Banshee
Saryn
Valkyr
Zephyr
Mirage
Mesa
Equinox...? [IIRC, technically considered female, both Anima and Animus, though Anima is masculine.]
I don't know exact seniority order, but if I recall from my trash memory (and the wiki, but shhhh), Saryn and Banshee released at the same time, followed by Valkyr, Zephyer, Mirage, and Mesa in the following open betas. Equinox is still sort of too new and iffy to even consider (Sorry, Equinox fans!)
As a bonus, I decided to look at something else. Prime color scheme. Aside from the standard bling, Primes always have a main bodied color of white or black, coupled with the beige-tan-sandy colors that fill the rest.
Let's look at our order again of Primes. (Exalibur Prime > Frost Prime > Mag Prime > Ember Prime > Rhino Prime > Loki Prime > Nyx Prime > Nova Prime > Volt Prime > Ash Prime > Trinity Prime)
The alternation here is White > Black > White > Black > Black > White > White > Black > Black > White > Black >
So, at the very least to say, we usually get alternating scheme, with the exception of Ember to Rhino, Loki to Nyx, and now Ash to Trinity. If I apply this, and extend it, we can assume it will follow as...
[W > B > W > B] > [B > W > B > W] > [W > B > W >B] > ETC, coupled in groups of four before alternating. Given that, we can assume that our next two Primes will be Black and White toned, respectively. Take that into mind when you think of our next Primes, though which color you deem a better fit for Volt/Ash/Vauban/Nekros/Oberon/Hydroid/Limbo is all up to you. Polls for that, too.
I don't know what to believe in for this one. I'm just going to pretend I know what I'm talking about, even though I don't. If anything, Primes come in pairs of black and white in relative shape, though they will do what they want in the end. Pairs or singles, either way.
Thank you for reading, and I hope I have some logical value behind my thoughts.
Sorry guys, polls are getting wiped again to prepare for the girls.
