  • This topic has been bugging me for a while and I can't seem to find too many if any other similar discusions.

    A few ideas for frame base power sets I thought of are;

    Telekinesis

    Time Manipulation

    Infested

    Self Cloning

    Each one of these frames I have ideas for their powers and looks, but any further ideas would be great.

    Feel free to comment or add your ideas, but please try not to down anyone.

    • TOTAL support on the infested one. I am creating a just for fun Saryn infested build, wthe Synapse, dual ichors (maybe Glaive), and Embyrios or whatever the infested pirtol is called, witth the Djinn to go along with it. Infested person would be great.

      Not sure about telekinesis. That's basically just a combo of Nyx and Mag, and depending on the direction you're going in, Carrier and Banshee too.

    • While using Mags "Pull" ability, i started to think, Why isnt there a gravity based frame? Pull would certainly fit that one more than magnetism. it could have abilitys that do things such as Letting you walk on walls, (not wall running) Lowering Gravity to increase your jump height, Or Increasing gravity to make enemys move slowly. Maybe theres some potential with this?

    • the grineer frames fisrst ability would be clone, he creates amother form of himself, forcing the person with the warframe(i am thinking "brutus" for the name) to take half th damage taken and the clone has halfed stats.  his ability would be plasma, similer to the plasma grenades of the grineer lancers, brutus would throw a grenade that dealt middle ranged damage and could hit behind cover.  his third ability would be a a warcry like thing that raised damages of squadmates and made others run away. and his fourth would be a mass cloning ability in which a number clones are made(3 or 4 or 5) and with same drawbacks of the first ability.  overall, i think its a good idea

    • We need a Cowboy/Gunslinger Warframe. We have dual revolvers (dual vasto), we have a whip (lecta), and we have a shotgun that looks like one from a western (tigris), now all we need is a Warframe to go with them.

      I'm thinking along the lines of focusing on gun-play, so thats where i'll focus abilities;

      1. Taunt - stuns enemies in a short radus. This makes them easy to shoot and kill.

      2. Ammo grab - used over a dead enimies body, it produces a small amount of ammo drops, and amount can be increased by mod level. Good for weapons that run out fast. Works alot like Nekros's ability, exept only brings up ammo.

      3. Bullet time - slows enemies up to -90% speed for up to 5 secs. Gives your team a high advantage for a short time to deal with foes in style.

      4. Gunslinger - You gain up to +50% fire rate for up to 10 seconds and up to +30% damage. (P.S. Do NOT use with vipers XD)

      For names, I don't really know what to call this frame, something that relates to the old wild west though.

    • You know, we really need a rambo warframe. You know, like someone who can take alot of hits, but is really fast. I mean frost and rhino are the only two real 'tanks' in the game, but with a decrease on health/energy/armour, increase on speed and a kickass look, and you have a new warframe.

    • it's simple. We need a new excalibur-esque frame. We need a powerful, offensive, mobile  warframe built to divide and conquer while maintaining defensive capability. We call him "Legionnare" or "Centurion",  and build him like a Rhino. 

      Give him armor, making him nearly as tanky as the big boys but not as much. Give him more base speed. His shields should be average, but give him plenty of health and armor. 

      Stand Untied: Makes allies  impervius to incoming projectile damage for 20 seconds.Essentially a Forst "bubble" but personalized and not limited to one area.

      Pillum throw. Similar to Ashe's shuriken, this ability is cheap and spammable. It costs slightly more energy, however, it can critical strike and can go through enemies. Whithin a period of 4 seconds, Centurion can choose to activate the ability a second time, causing it to explode. 

      Sword Play: Centurion's melee ability is vastly increased for 10 seconds. He attacks faster and does more damage. Killing an emeny with a melee strike adds 5 seconds to the duration. 

      Tortuga Formation: Spawns a number of Tenno aroundCenturion in a defensive rectangle. Where he goes, they go. They provide fire and absorb agro from enemies for a maximum of 1 minute. If Legionnare crouches, the warriors will stay stationary in that position for a fixed period. Their timing resets, giving them an added 1 minute. Mods allow the soldiers to remain in place for longer, but does not add to their number. This ability sounds like a Nekros rip-off, but these soldiers have no hp and are more defensive.They can be commanded and do more damagee. 

      Look at this idea. You know you love it. You want to see it. You want to paint your Centurion Red and Gold and reenact your favorite scenes from Rome Total War. You want to start spamming the creators of Warframe. So do it. Warframe needs the immortal spirit of Rome.

      THROW - like mag's pull but when you trigger the power it locks on to your eneimies in front of you then you press it again to throw them into the direction you're facing

    • I propose the Martyr Warframe:

      In times of crisis sacrifice is needed. The Martyr is a highly disciplined warframe that will give sacrifice for his fellow Tenno.

      Shield Offensive- 10   All shield are depleted in exchange for emitting a beam of energy that can penetrate to damage multiple enemies in a line. (Damage given is 50% of shield value / 75% / 100% / 150%)

      Damage Guard- 25   The Martyr takes damage for the team, other Tenno are invinsible for the duration. (Net damage received is 75% / 66% / 50% / 25% and time is 7s / 10s / 14s / 19s)

      Restoration- 50   Energy and ammo is refilled for Tenno squad. (Energy is allways refilled to max. Ammo give in equivalents of ammo boxes +5 / +7 / +10 / +15)

      Ultimate Sacrifice- 100   The Tenno becomes an energy explosion and causes massive damage to an equally massive area of enemies. Kills the Martyr Tenno to save the mission. (Radius is set at 100m. Damage given is 6000 / 7500 / 10000 / 15000. Cannot damage VIPs)

       

      In solo missions, all of the above will still work, but they will be less effective. Damage guard will reduce the amount of damage the Martyr receives, like a weak Rhino Skin. The Ultimate Sacrifice will require a revive in order to continue.

    • I think an avian-esque Warframe would be pretty rad, maybe something based on the Tengu of Japanese mythology.

      Seeing as how we have two "ninja" 'Frames, Loki and Ash, it could have a samurai feel to it, with fast-paced melee and wind or air based skills.

      For melee, it could have a skill similar to Slash Dash, sliding towards an enemy or group of enemies and dealing slash damage. An AoE skill dealing slash damage and stunning or knocking down enemies would also be pretty cool, and it would give the player some breathing room.

      For utility, it could have a skill that allows it to momentarily fly or hover, allowing it to drop into a group of enemies from above or cross certain distances.

      As unlikely as it is, I personally think this could make a cool, fun to play Warframe.

    • Thinking back on it, a better AoE skill to play up on the wind/air based powers would be a whirlwind that surrounds the Tengu, pushing the enemies away, knocking them down and stunning them momentarily.

    • Excaliber is exclusively stated to be the first warframe ever.   But earth, water, gravity, and air types would be interesting.  I'd also suggest one with an autoturret (body mounted or not) and, if not on the aerial one, some sort of burst jetpack made for quick evasions that could go in multiple directions.

    • I'm thinking of a Glue-based Frame, who would be really supportive to his team. Any name suggestions?


      Ideas for Abilities would be:

      Sticky Cannon - 25 - Fires a ball of glue that can stick multiple enemies to the ground, slowing them drastically and sticking them together which gives Shotguns the chance to land a lot more hits. (Slow Effect: 60/70/80/90%   AoE: 2/4/6/8m Duration: 4/5/6/7sec)

      Anti-Surface Boots - 40 - Players gain the Ability to jump higher for a few seconds, damaging enemies when jumping near them. (Jump Effect: 1,5/2,0/2,5/3,0x Higher Jump   Damage Effect: 50/80/110/140   AoE: 4/6/8/10m   Duration: 6/7/8/9sec) Jelly Bubble - 75 - Creates a save bubble around all Players, that reduces incoming damage and knocks back enemies on touch. (Damage Reduction: 50/60/70/80%   Bubble Health: 400/600/800/1000   Duration (if not destroyed): 20/30/40/50sec   Knockdown Chance: 35/50/65/80%)

      Corrosive Glue - 100 - Launches a round wave of special glue, that slows and damages any enemy it touches. Can hit airborne enemies in the moment of usage. Deals Corrosion Damage, but damage type can be changes by shooting on the sticky ground. (Slow Effect: 80/85/90/95%   Damage per Second: 100/250/400/550   Range: 15/20/25/30m   Duration: 8/10/12/14sec)

    • Earth Warframe-

      Boulder-Summons a piece of earth from the ground and throws it at foes, stunning them in the process.

      Stonefist-Covers arm in rock and punches outwards, ragdolling.

      Earthen Tech-Increases Bullet Damage and Warframe Armour (not shields), while slowing down both.

      Stone Wave-Smashes down on the ground sending a wave of earth to do high damage to enemies and sending them rocketing off into the distance (really strong ragdoll).

    • Water and Earth based frames seem like no brainers.  Ultimates could be tidal wave and earthquake respectively.  Zephyr has tornadoes covered.  Rock armor similar to iron skin woud be good for the earth frame along with a projectile.  Throw in some sort of "root"  that locks enemies in place and you have four abilities.

      Water could have some sort of downpour that reduces enemy accuracy.  Maybe a slip-n-spide move that increase speed.  Third ability could be a healing fountain that springs in one spot.  It would differentiate the frame from Trinity and Oberon's healing.

      I also thought about a "chameleon" fram that has existing abilities from every other frame. Maybe allow it to take one ability from each tier any other frame.  Not sure if it would be overpowered if it was limited to still just having one of each level.

      I like the idea of a centurion frame.  Something a like a battlefield commander.  The abilities would focus on amplifying everyone in the group with buffs.

      1) provides a percent of ammo replenish for the team. 2) accuracy and fire rate buffs for team within radius. 3) deploys an auto turret. 4) grants unlimited ammo and damage buff to all teammates with in a given radius of the user for a period of time.

      The tenno are infested (to a degree). Anyways, back to the thread at hand:

      I really would like to see a water-based frame (I am not talking about frost). It could utilize things like cavitation, those water jets that cut metal, simple blasts of water for CC, and maybe something for mobility. That or have a frame with only buff and debuff powers. Or have frames with passive abilities rather than "button abilities". Passive ammo regen would be nice or 

      An Earth frame would not work considering the need to teleport entire boulders into a ship and the fact that earthquakes are somewhat done already (Rhino Stomp and Banshee's ult).

    • Metal frame, "Chrome" for it's name, high armor, low shields, moderate health, high-mid speed.

      Power 1- "Javelin", simply put a spear that can punch through an infinite number of enemies, including shield lancers shields till it hits a naturally occuring object (walls, doors, etc.)

      Power 2- "un-named", Basically something akin to rino's iron skin but not quite as strong and possibly duration based.

      Power 3- "Porcupine", "Cactus", "Hedgehog"; I was thinking something like cactus spikes that shoot off in every direction dealing low damage if they hit anything possible blast proc chance.

      Power 4- "un- named", Simply a buff that grants an infinite ammunition refill of solid projectile weapons only (so most corpus weapons are SOL) for about 10-20 seconds while reduce the armor/health value of the frame which he gains back at the end of the duration.

I got this idea when I was thinking about the classical elements (this and this may help you understand what I am talking about). These are commonly know as Fire, Air, Water and Earth. However, in Japanese philosophy, there is another element known as void. Considering that some of the concepts in Warframe are

      Blessed by the mountain nymph Echos and the god of the sun Helios. This Warframe has the abilites to disable enemies sense of hearing and sight!

      Sonicboom- send a blast thats goes in 3 directions from in front of you, sending a deafing sound that carries blades of air that slices all those in your wake.

      Helios- create a flash of light that stuns/blinds as well as has a short fire damage duration.(max Lv blinds foes for 30 seconds and 15sec fire damage)

      Echo quake-Or E-quake for short pound the ground and cause a magnet field that lift foes up in the air(anti gravity effect, also on higher levels works on Heavies enemy types)

      Overcharge/Aurora Flux- fuse your powers of echo and helios to create a sphere of energy around you, that vaporize eneimes in a radius also enemies at a distance are blinded for 10 seconds. 

      Side Note(s): this warframe will have a new melee weapon called the Tuner long like a spear double side like a ax swift like a sword and looks like a tuning fork. The appearance of the Warframe should have a organic-machine vibe. Alter. skin  can be Steam punk theme.

      i like the idea, howerver many of these abilities are already in the game in some form very similar to the way you put them. Banshee has sonic boom, excal has blinding light that stuns, rhino stomp is the same as the third one as well as oberons reckoning does almost same thing, as for the fourth its a cool concept but seems overpowered being able to vaporize anything around you and blind everything else but maybe it could work seeing as how nova has an ability similar that vaporizes everything, i just dont see the need of taking abilities from already existing frames and mixing it into one. but thats just my input.

Enemies infected are hostile to all.

      As if it wasnt horrible enough: Besides using energy orbs, bodies can be 'captured' and converted by the Warframe to Infested Nanites(still uses the Energy bar).

    • what about a "Heavy Gunner/Grenader" warframe? has a built in mechanic cannon on his arm. and 2/4  of his abilites are his cannon attacks. and the other 2 are AOE (mark the ground) missles from air to ground.  he could look like a grineer tenno. half mechanical.  with a helmet that looks "HALF grineer".  looking slightly bulkier than rhino but... rusty?     i know he wont "fit" in the tenno family because its a ninja clan.  but.... yeah, maybe this can be a unique warframe.  probably obtain him and his parts from a unique grineer area  with a unique boss like Nekros  with Lephantis. but... harder? y'kno?

      names for abilities and info

      1: Cannon blast; Just a basic cannon fire. 

      press 1 to mark a target. and press 1 again to fire


      2: Grenade  Launcher: sprays little clusters of bombs in a cone.  / or / Missile Volley: Rapid fire of mini missiles from his cannon. randomly  targeting enemies. mostly nearby.


      3: Engine Overheat: his cannon charges up and overheats. making him slam his cannon to the ground. basically burning foes around him  (like Sargus Ruk)


      4: Nuclear Cannon  Blast:  yeah, that name explains  it.  just press 4 and you can mark where you want it.  but it takes time for the cannon to charge up the ability. so time it well and the foes could either dissolve  or just knocked back and confused ( due to radiation )  so this ultra combines Fire  to  weak foes who actually die from it.  or those who survive will suffer from radiation effect.     


      What do ya think?  i dont know a name for him yet. probably a grineer-ish name or a russian-ish name? hell.. i dont  know

    • I kind of like the idea of a grineer frame, but I'd base it more on a Hellion or something. 1: Ground Pound: Basically the heavy gunner's slam move.

      2: Turret: Kind of like it sounds.

      3: Missile Barrage: Think of the Hellion's signature move.

      4: could be something like the guy who posted just above me. 

      Is it original? No. But man would it be fun, especially with a Gorgon and a Jat.

      As for looks, he should wear a poncho, and maybe a hat shaped head, but that last one is horrible in my opinion, and for the name, an anagram for clint eastwood maybe lol

    • Water will be the next Warframe released. Already mentioned during a previous Dev Interview and if somebody happened to pause at the right spots you could sneak glimpses of concept stuff for that warframe when they were showing the various people at work around the office. So we need a Rock/Plant based WF to clearly rep Earth Element it will be quite some time before we see yet another Frame added to the roster after the Water one.

      The 4th ability would be good if it were like red dead redemption where you could slow time down and select what targets you want to shoot with the dual Vasto. 12 rounds, 12 enemies. The damage for the ability would have to be like ash's bladestorm so this way you are not wasting 100 energy. This is a great idea, but the name can DEFINIATELY NOT be Clint Eastwood, simply because the game is so far into the future that it wouldn't make too much sense to players.     • Kaax (Yum Kaax, Mayan God of the woods, wild nature and the hunt. ) - The Hunting Tenno.

      Deep within the overgrown forests of Earth, the Kaax frame awakens for the hunt.

      Base Stats: High shields - Low health - Low Armour - Fast movement speed.

      1. Perception - 25 Energy: Grants the Tenno and all allies within close proximity of him the ability to see all enemies through solid objects for a short duration. (Much like a built in x-ray). -Range and duration will increase with modding-

      2. Will Of The Hunt - 50 Energy: A self buff that increases Kaax's movemenet speed, melee attack speed, and fire rate for a short duration. -Movement speed, melee attack speed and fire rate will increase with modding along with the buffs duration-

      3. Call Forth The Wild 75 Energy: - Kaax summons spirirts of the forest to dance over the head of all Tennos within proximity of the caster. These spirits increase shield recharge rate and deal small aoe, dps damage to any enemies within range (Animals can vary from a bear, fox, rabbit or deer). -Number of animals (limited to four), shield recharge rate, aoe range and dps will increase with modding-

      4. Heart Of The Forest - 100 Energy: Kaax calls forth to the heart nature and summons a 'Life Tree' which deals massive aoe damage with it's branches, roots and vines. It then remains where it is for a very short duration healing those who are within range. (The cast time on this skill will be significantly long, much like the Nekros' 'Shadows Of The Dead' skill) -Damage, aoe range, duration and healing will increase with modding-

      As far as appearances go, the Kaax should look incredibly agile, delicate, but fierce. The default colours, the obvious choices, browns, greens and yellow ochres with splashes of red. Maybe a vine-like pattern running along one arm towards the center of the torso where a leaf-like emblem sits and glows.

      Drawing some scribbles for a frame like this (it's a Black Hole / Gravitiy - Frame) since a few weeks and thought about her (i think it's up to a chick to be such a gravitiy-beater) skills. I don't want to give exact stats to the skills, to avoid this "OP"-QQ-ing:


      1. Center: Pulls every Ammo/Resource/Orb/etc. in range of x to her (Like the carrier but more range and maybe even stuff for her allys)


      2. Heavy Steps: For x Seconds, "Frame" creates high gravitiy around her, slow down enemys and dmg them the closer they come (Maxed out it may be a slow down of 100% in a short range around her).And maybe with this one she could be able to walk on walls. Would be some kind of anti-melee-cc-stuff an positioning-fun.

      Would be a nice splashing death-animation if enemys get killed by this skill.

      Like watermelons hitting the ground, after a free fall from the top of a building :)


      3. Reverse: Creates an Aoe in front of her, reverses gravitiy for x seconds, enemys could traped in stasis or something like that. (some more CC).

      Would be fun, if you can place this on walls, to push enemys beside an smash the on opposites walls.


      4. Super-Massive: "Frame" creates a black hole around her, serving as a shield. "Frame" is always the center of this shield, she would be able to move, but hardly slowed down by 95% / >% / >%. The shield should growing by absorbing bullets and pulling in stupid melees and other enemys in a range of x inside (Like a black hole) and trap them in stasis (Black holes bend time).

      The absorbed Dmg would be inflicted to the enemys trapped inside.

      I think i dont have to explain, how a black hole should look like x)


      She would be some kind of a defense-support, anti-melee Camper-Frame x)


      Some things, i thought it would be fun to see in her Design:

      She should be pretty thin (no gravity - no muscles needed) with a few heavy Parts like reactors on her frame (Creating  b.h.'s should use a lot of Energy)

      A few years ago, CERN begun to use their particle accelerator.... a lot of people where talking about black holes, created by this giant circle.So, some circle-like reactors would be pretty funny.

      Heel-less Boots (No gravity, f** heels^^), with such reactor-things at the bottom.

      Maybe some Parts at her Helmet (Maybe her own Syndana, like Nekros and Valkyr)

      should react to her gravitiy-skills.

      1)Smoke Cloud- Sends a smoke cloud seeking enemies, poisoning and damaging them- upgrade will increase duration of the cloud and damage.

      2)Grey Soul- Turns into smoke for a very short duration like 4-5 seconds, the smoke allows any hit to go through you making you pretty invincible- upgrade will increase duration.

      3)Smog Field- Covers a little area with smog and creates an x-ray for allies to see through it, Smog will blind enemies and do little damage to then bit by bit- upgrade will increase duration, damage and Aoe.

      4)Blazing Wind- Sends out a wave in all directions of burning smoke with strong heat in it, strongly damaging enemies and enemies that are living will still be having fire on them- upgrade will increase damage and Area of Effect

      Instead of powers, you just give them four more guns they can lug around and by pressing the corrosponding button, you "summon" the weapon related to that slot and it uses the energy as ammunition (by summoning that too).

      1)Flash Step- Light steps and charges forward, blinding enemies around it. At the end he releases a force of light damaging foes.

      2)Stun Drone- Light rises up in the air, shooting electrical light energy to enemies, stunning them.

      ​3)Fire Sphere- Light creates a sphere of fire any foes who comes in or is inside will get burned.



      4)Plasma Overdrive- Light shoots super-heated plasma up in the air, when they land they create big explosions highly damaging enemies.

      - A strength mod will increase the power of Flash StepFire Sphere and Plasma Overdrive.

      - A duration mod will increase duration of Stun Drone and Fire Sphere.

      - A range mod will increase the range of Flash Step and Stun Drone.

      Light has a shining aura, he is a warframe great for support then attacking.

    • I have some ideas, for instance, what about a warframe that can turn into different states of mater (solid, liquid, gas etc.), some ideas for moves would be....

      Melt: You melt down into a puddle and stay like that for 10 seconds, you trip up opponents if they step on you but also you can get through doors you would normally need to hack. While in this state you would be vunerable to electric attacks but for all other types you are invunerable. There could even be some more violent offensive uses of this like heating up an enemy till they melt.

      Evaporate: You jump up and suddenly disappear, you become a gas of sorts for 10 seconds and if you use your melee attack on an enemy while like this they choke to death. You could also get through air ducts with x2 speed and like melt you would be able to get past doors you need to hack. In this state you are only vunerable to fire as you are flammable.

      PlasmaLink: This could be where you aim at an opponent and like volts shock chain through them, the idea is you stun the opponents you chain through and when there are no more opponents in range you go back to your normal form at the last enemy.

      The final abillity I am not sure of but I am certain it would be epic :)


      Another idea for a warframe I have is called Codec, again I am not sure what some of the moves would be but the idea is he can instantly hack and can cause mechanical enemies or enemies with electrical equipment to malfunction or break.

      2)Stunned Capture- Phase shoots energy ropes to catch enemies and stun them for a very short duration.

      3)RC Ball- Phase shoots an energy ball and controls it, back to slow down, forward to speed up, left & right to turn, if it hits it detonates, if it wears off it detonates.

      4)Energy Mega Barrage- Phase summons clones of himself in the air holding big energy bombs, when they fall the bombs create huge explosions disintergrating enemies.

      sk1. Melting gaze - basically it doesnt have any casting animations, pretty bullshit, and melts away several enemies.

      sk2. Lava Hedgehog - Iron Skin vs. melee enemies and infested. hurts everything too close to you, absorbes 2 times less damage than Iron Skin/or has a duration instead, aka old iron skin.

      sk2//alt Gas Form - turns you into a floaty cloud of gas. oddly, you're still able to use your weapons, except you deal less damage on melee strikes. While in Gas Form, you are immune to all physical damage, though you're still vulnerable to elemental damage types. while in that form, you are alot lighter and floaty. bullets pass straight through you, and after doing that, they can hurt enemies and they also deal bonus heat damage cuz space magic.

      sk3. Combo blast - first, shoots out a blast of some corrosive bullshit, which procs corrosive and takes away some of enemies' armor, then a gas cloud appears, and they get procced with gas. yup. double proc. then, some lava appears on the floor and the gas cloud explodes. procs heat, puts enemies on fire. yup, triple proc. has some AoE, CC, requires aiming. that's right, aiming. the whole process takes quite some time.

      ult. Elemental Replicas. Basically a bullshit cloning technique. Creates one Heat-Lava-Clone, one Gas-Clone and one Corrosion-Clone. They have their own specific abilities which actually are parts of that combo blast sk3. They use your equipment, though they don't take your mods into account, just like the Specters. Yup, they have just as dumb AI as the specters. Each replica scales with enemies' current level, but they arent tanky or anything like that. theyre affected only by duration and efficiency mods.

    • Guys, how about making a warframe, whitch looks like a demon *.* with wings. He should be called Akuma (it means demon in japanese). His skils would be like this:

      1)Cursed ground- he flyes towards his enemyes and he leaves the ground cursed (if any enemy stands there, he recieves damage per second).

      2)forgotten spikes-he shoves his hand into the ground and for a short period of time, spikes apear from the ground in front of him and damages everyone, who stands in their range.

      3)Demons pawn- he changes the apperance of one enemy, witch would fight for him, the chosen "pawn" would have increased health, attack spead, attack damage and movement spead.

      4)Nightstalker- he turns himsealf into a "true deamon" and totally changes his apperance for 15 seconds. When it works, he grows two times, has better crit chances, his mele weapon turns into a red scythe, he gets addinional 200 armor, 200 schild, 200 health and additional +50 dmg to every hit with his weapon.

      Akuma is the most frightening of all the tenno, witch has come to the world of the living to punish the unworthy of living. His only purpose in life is to destroy everything, that can pass the gates of the underworld and serve the demons. He and only he is the purgator of the solar system, witch promised to the king of the demons to give him as many servants as he can.

    • Before they introduce any new frames, I think it's worth going back and fleshing out some of the weaknesses with some of the current frames. Especially where there is a lot of functional overlap.

      Saryn: Improve the mechanic on venom; mobs should spread spores when they die, too, not just when the spore is targeted. Make contagion an AOE DOT like toxic ancients. This would help distinguish Saryn from the other press 4 to win frames, and give her a unique niche that's not really covered right now.

      Ash: I'm not really sure what can be done here, other than improve stealth overall. Maybe make all headshots from stealth insta-kill? Not bosses obviously. That would probably go for Loki and Banshee too.

      Banshee: Since I brought her up... maybe make some improvements to sonic boom and sound quake. Sonic boom should be similar to Mag's pull, only do "push" instead. Similar meaning damage and range. Sound quake should do its thing from where you cast it, and free you up to run around and shoot/attack/etc.

      Ember: Accellerant needs to be a buff on the player instead of a debuff to enemies. Also increase WOF's duration by a small amount (maybe to 15 seconds) and let power range affect the size of fire blast.

      Valkyr: Run speed boost on hysteria is definitely needed. Or at least match her spin-speed to her current weapon. It's so discouraging to have dual zorens equipped and lose almost all that mobility when you press 4. Paralyze and Warcry are working perfectly as they are.

      Excalibur: Replace super jump with something that's less terrible. Slash dash and radial blind are just about right. I've never even used radial javelin in a real situation, is it any good?

      And I know this will incur the wrath of others, but I have to suggest a couple of nerfs too. Yes, I play both of these classes:

      Rhino: Slightly reduce the effectiveness of Roar; make it more on par with Valkyr's Warcry.

      Nova: M-Prime needs some work, as we all know. I would suggest reducing the damage/speed debuff, and leave the explosion mechanic intact. Maybe the enemies get a damage BUFF since they're shooting antimatter now and you're made of matter? I don't know.

    • How about a bounty hunter warframe of sorts, call it Fett. Focusing on movement and harvesting credits/materials/mods.  

      ability 1) hover - activates a jetpack propulsion that allows you to access otherwise unreachable areas or to quickly escape from danger. upgrading would increase time of jetpack

      ability 2) collect- every enemy you kill for a specific amount of time drops guaranteed credits with a small chance to drop rare materials and/or mods. upgrading increases credits dropped and also the % of chance to drop rare materials/mods.

      ability 3) marked- deploys homing darts to all enemies in a 180 degree area in front of you which in return makes all incoming projectiles be auto-homing to those targets for you and your fellow tenno. upgrade increases targets able to be marked as well as damage increased from incoming projectiles on marked targets.

      ability 4) contract killer -marks a single target increasing their damage resistance and damage output but once killed is guaranteed to drop blueprints/very rare material/large amount of credits. upgrading this ability increases the buffs given to the target but also increases the rarity and value of the reward.

      2)Malfunction- Codec hacks in every electronic in the room, causing then to malfunction and attack enemies with electrical shocks when they get close.

      3)Upgrade- Codec increases shields and speed to him and his allies with his virtual powers.

      4)Robofall- Codec calls in some fast, strong robotic titans to eliminate enemies with acid, flames, frost, electric and also melee.

(The cast time on this skill will be significantly long, much like the Nekros' 'Shadows Of The Dead' skill) -Damage, aoe range, duration and healing will increase with modding-

      As far as appearances go, the Kaax should look incredibly agile, delicate, but fierce. The default colours, the obvious choices, browns, greens and yellow ochres with splashes of red. Maybe a vine-like pattern running along one arm towards the center of the torso where a leaf-like emblem sits and glows.

      This is Midnight (Darkness Warframe/Warframe of the Night)

      Midnight haunts enemy dreams, attacking enemies with darkness physically and mentally.

      Midnight's abilities bring oblivion to enemies, a foe to be feared.

      1)Nightmare- Midnight intercepts enemy minds in front of him, and brings darkness and nightmares upon them, damaging them from the inside.

      2)Murder- Midnight summons a murder of crows to slow enemies down and distract them by annoying them and do little damage to enemies.

      3)Shadow Sneak- Midnight causes the room to dim and increase his and his allies's speed, enemies are blind and allies can attack in stealth.

      4)Dark Matter- Midnight shoots dark matter in every direction making enemies get shrouded in darkness then getting consumed by it.


      For Dark Matter really strong enemies can survive but get highly damaged, it just comes off and they're are still there.

      This is shadowy complete darkness not death like nekros.


      Even though Midnight is an ally he is still a being of darkness, if he was a foe he could bring destruction to his targets.

      4)Spacial Rend- Spacios focuses energy in himself then focusing deadly matter in enemies, when he releases he rips them apart with space.



      Spacios is a survivng tenno and warframe, using space to live.

    • You can create Warframe manipulating his own armor. Changing armor, he will receive new properties. For example , making a super-heavy armor , get immune to knockback , while knocking down enemies while ramming running. Or transform into Warframe of living metal , while losing shields, but getting strong health regeneration and increase in the armor (or just the regeneration and looks like the liquid terminator ^_^ ). A limb can be transformed into Warframe melee followed by a single blow. Or separate edementy armor in the form of balls that fly and undermine (or shock ) enemies.

      With a good imagination , you can come up with many.

      3)Pause doesn't work on tenno unles you want it to cause if it does you will see your self get beat up.


      Tempo is a beast of time, helping tenno with time and existence.

      This is Quake (Ground Warframe)

      Quake uses earth as his advantage, to crush enemies into the ground and supporting allies with his element.

      Quake's abilities attack enemies and support allies from the under.

      1)Quicksand- Quake sends small groups of quicksand around him, damaging and making enemies stuck for a short duration.

      2)Magnitude- Quake sends outwards a wave that shakes the ground, knocking down foes.

      3)Sandstorm- Quake summons a sandstorm that damages enemies who are inside.

      4)Wormquake- Quake awakens three or more giant worms of the underground to rise and consume enemies.


      If Quake is on our side then the earth is on our side, giving us an advantage in battle.

      Power 1- He would turn into black smoke passing through enemies making them stop for a few seconds.

      Power 2- He comes from the enemies shadows so from behind killing them all within a certain range

      Power 3- make like black holes under the enemies sending them into darkness.

      those are all i can think of not in any order but he would have like black smoke coming from his body. He would have a lot of health, attack, and power but low shield and armor.

      Also if possession would be too hard for developers to make I would say the third power could go something like this...

      - Unholy Seal: place a demon's seal upon the ground and when enemies walk over it demonic creatures sprout from the ground and pull enemies down under stunning and sometimes killing them

    • Set - Sand-based Warframe (hey, we have fire, water, electricity and wind, so why not?)

      Although Set, the Egyptian God, is currently known as the God of Eclipses and destruction, he was originally the God of the desert and sand, hence this Warframe's name (we also already have a fire-based Warframe).

      his default helmet has two horns sticking up from the top to resemble short Jackal ears, his face is also skewed down a little. His shoulders have three thick spikes each, all curved downwards. He has many loose parts around his body, much like Hydroid's "tendrils" on his face, which resemble loose cloth. His feet resemble dog feet and many of his parts around his body are similar to that of anubis warriors.

      Alternate helmet 1 is called Rameses (sharing the name of an egyptian pharaoh). The ears are disregarded in favor of a headpiece much like the headpieces worn by pharaohs. It also has one of those chin things that pharaohs wore (hey, I don't know the name of them). The face is no longer skewed and two lines curve down from the top corners of the face to the near-centre of the bottom.

      Alternate helmet 2 is called Giza. The jackal ears are extended to look like fully grown jackal ears, and the skewed face now points up to resemble a jackal's snout.

      Set's default shields are 125, his default health is 100, with a default armor rating of 65 and a default power level of 100.

      Now for the exciting part: powers.

      Power 1: not yet decided

      Power 2: Sand Blind (work in progress name) - costs 50 power

      This works like Excaliburs Radial blind, but for a longer period of time and only shoots in front of the caster. When activated, Set will thrust his hand in front of him and send a blast of sand in front of him, with an extended distance to Excalibur's Radial Blind and longer lasting effect. When maxed out, it can practically go across half of Jackal's chamber and lasts a whole minute. Stalker is immune to this.

      Power 3: Quicksand trail - costs 75 power

      This power is quite clever. When activated, Set will leave a trail of quicksand wherever he walks. This lasts 15 meters by default, and cannot be used in mid-air (c'mon, quicksand floating in the air? Thats preposterous). The quicksand has the same mechanism as Hydroid's Undertow, but the size of the trail is as long as Set travels and as wide as Zanuka. It can be deactivated in-use. The quicksand lasts 20 seconds by default. This can be useful in defenses and mobile defenses, creating a ring of quicksand around the object of interest. When max-leveled, quicksand trail can be extended to 40 meters and can be as wide as two Zanukas, it also lasts 45 seconds. Stalker can walk over the quicksand with no effects.

      Power 4: Sandstorm - has the same mechanic as Nyx's absorb in terms of power cost and (de)activation

      What else? When Sandstorm is activated, Set reaches his hands outwards and summons a whirlwind of sand around himself. The radius of the whirlwind goes 4 meters around Set and 8 meters overall. Any enemies around the whirlwind will be sucked in slowly before swirling around helplessly, taking damage overtime. This works on all enemies except bosses and assassins (who will still take damage and go slower, though). Set is immune to all damage while this power is active, since all the bullets/rockets/grenades/jam tarts/etc will be sucked into the whirlwind with the enemies. When Sandstorm is deactivated, Set will unleash the sand outwards, dealing damage to enemies. What makes the deactivation all the more fun is sending enemies caught in the whirlwind flying away in a ragdoll frenzy. What makes it even better is if any rockets and grenades have been caught in the whirlwind, they will also go flying outwards and explode on impact (if the grenades haven't blown up already). This is randomly aimed and has no guarentee to hit enemies. When maxed, Sandstorm is practically bonkers crazy. Stalker is immune to all effects of Sandstorm, but he will take damage.

      And with Set comes a new melee weapon: Duel fleshreapers

      basically two hooks, similar to those used by Malthael in Diablo lll: Reaper of Souls. They match the "swirling Tiger" stance mod.

      A male Greek warframe that looks similar to an Ancient Greek statue. With high armor, low speed, medium health, and medium shields.

      1) Haphaesteus' Gift-25 Energy: Throws and old-timey bomb that explodes and damages anyone near it (except allies). Does medium damage. Damage goes higher as the warframe's level does and/or mods.

      2) Poseidon's Anger-50 Energy: Makes the floor covered in water, causing enemies to slip and fall, causing low damage. Works for 10/15/25 seconds. Damage goes higher as the warframe's level does and/or mods.

      3) Zues' Rage-75 Power: Stomps on the ground, causing a shockwave of pure electricity. Dealing high damage to anything around it. Damage goes higher as the warframe's level does and/or mods.

      4) Hades' Vexation-100 Power: Calls to Hades and everything near him is immediately turns to cinders and ashes. Enemies far away become blinded for 5/10/20 seconds. Damage and blind time goes higher as the warframe's level does and/or mods.

      Alpha-Beta the Greek Mythology Warframe. He was made by the Gods when they saw what the corpus and grineer are doing to the universe. He is one of the last hopes of the universes' salvation.

      Decay rose from the dead from the Tenno graveyard. He awoke and began to quench his bloodlust on the grineer and corpus.

      4) Clone Fury-100 Energy: Kuroun created multiple clones of himself, each armed with a powerful Melee weapon, killing most enemies in one hit. Lasts until 7/10/13 enemies are killed.

      4) Summon an Onyx Golem (or just stone) that shields against incoming projectiles when ranged enemies are nearby (incoming projectiles have a chance of being deflected off Golem's body back at attackers), or seeks out and pummels nearby melee enemies [Golem will have a certain amount of health and max life span. Golem will go into Rampage Mode and takes no damage from attacks, deals double damage to enemies, and moves at 2x speed (automatically seeking out the nearest enemy and attacking it): when the player deals channeled melee damage to enemies, continues ability until until the player either runs out of energy or stops dealing channeled melee damage to enemies for 3 seconds].

      also i got some additional ideas for a few wood skills

      like the vine traps you mentioned if you want them to be more earth element it could be like some holes in an area with a 10-15m radius around your current position and if an enemie steps onto it he breaks in with the half of its body so you still can shoot him

      and some wood elemental skills like spike skin that halves the dmg you recieve and adds bleed dot on an enemie that directly hits you or like you summon a tree around you and all dmg you take meanwhile is converted into health for you and if you reach max health its devided for your team members in a 25m range and after ~5sec duration the tree disappears and knocks down enemies in a 15m radius around you

      This frame is based on the premise of the combination of two separate entities, aka the sun and the moon. The warframe would be able to switch between two forms for a moderately low energy cost and would be allowed different abilities for each form:

      1. Reversal: (25 energy) Soluna changes between his/her sun and moon forms. This role reversal allows access to differing abilities.

      2. a) Solar Flare: Sol (50 energy) Sol focuses the sun's rays into a ray of energy that deals moderate damage to foes in a straight line in front of him (variable range).

      b) Lunar Eclipse: Luna (50 energy) Luna becomes invisible for a period of time, and creates a decoy at her position of activation, as well as gaining increased movement speed and critical hit damage.

      3. a) Fusion: Sol (75 energy) Sol buffs squad attack speed (primary, secondary, and melee) and energy regeneration.

      b) Moon Dust: Luna surrounds herself with a cloud of celestial fragments, increasing her evasiveness (enemies more prone to miss) as well as increasing her ability power. Ability affects any squad members within radius of the Moon Dust ability.

      I would like it if it was just the moon, because the moon idea sounds cool, Lunar Eclipse is like Loki activating Decoy & Invisiblility right and don't forget not to make it too close to the new frame's 3rd Mirage Eclipse, nvm, I enjoy the idea but isn't it better to do this idea on the warframe forum, Fan Concept, there is already a concept that allows minor concepts to be put on that concept or you could make your own concept.

      b) Dark Side of the Moon: Luna (100 energy) Luna creates a radial shroud surrounding nearby enemies in darkness, causing all enemies within the radius of the ability to fall into despair (not attacking, loss of sense of direction) as well as slowing their movement speed.

      2) Whip Lash: Steam whips his hand forward allows him to spear and drag enemy's tow him if not killed by this ablity itself and those who survive will fall infront of him allow for a finisher to be place. Can grab multiple enemies if line up correctly. If a whip is equiped he uses it with a extned reach. This has a medium to ok high damage and if place to the head though insta-kills all non-boss units. Is spammable but is hard to angle as it follows the way his body faces not the crosshair and can be used to get to other areas(I know this is similiar to Valkrys ripline)

      Hurricanes are supposed to be huge not small tornadoes, like one giant storm with a giant tornado

      Insanity rather reminds me of Blade Storm, Hysteria or if you were an enemy Chaos but good idea I like it

    • I recently went Japan to visit my uncle, who is a Sumo Wrestling fan. I got to thinking that a sumo frame would be interesting. I can't think of a name for the frame, but for the sake of making my descriptions easier, I'll call it Doe. Here's my idea:

      My aim was to make these abilities as simple, as chainable, and as useful as possible without being ridiculous. The Warframe will naturally be pretty slow and have lower stamina, but will have very high defensive stats and have increased knockdown/knockback resistance. It is not meant to be just another Rhino, but rather focus on utility and territory control.

      First Ability: Thrust: Basically a slap-boxing move where Doe launches a couple of very quick slips/thrusts that stuns enemies. It can stun-lock enemies if spammed. This move should be very cheap (like 10 energy) and relatively weak. (This is a very common move in Sumo Wrestling and is used to disorient the opponent and to throw them off balance. It is similar to the very fast and weak punches in boxing.)

      Second Ability: Charge: Yes, another charge ability. Charge will cause Doe to, well, charge forward. Upon hitting an enemy, they will damaged by the impact and Doe will push them some distance and stun them. The affected enemy will be weaker to all damage for a period of time. (The beginning of the actual fighting part of pretty much every Sumo Wrestling match starts with the combatants charging each other)

      Third Ability: Lift: Doe will lift a targeted enemy (or maybe a group if clustered together) from a distance. This power is a toggle-able power (like Nyx's Absorb). While active the lifted enemy(s) are kept in a bastille-like state and will be dealt constant damage. Doe can also move the enemy(s) around a little. Upon deactivating the ability, the lifted target(s) are thrown in the direction you are facing. The thrown target(s) will be weaker to all damage for a period of time. (Lifts are a critical part to Sumo matches because they are a very effective way for a combatant to win the match by moving the opponent outside of the ring)

      Fourth Ability: Sacred Ring: Doe will summon a large sumo-style ring. Yourself and any allies within the ring take reduced damage and have increased power efficiency while any enemies inside will be slowed down and will take increased damage. Any enemies that were inside the ring will continue to take increased damage for a given period of time. This ring does not move with Doe. The visuals for this power will have Doe throwing salt first, then the ring itself is formed centered in front of him.

      (Why salt? Salt is always thrown into the ring by both combatants prior to the actual fighting part of their match. I'm guessing it is to symbolically "purify" the ring.)

      I'm not sure if the increased damage to enemies should stack or not.

      1)Sands of Time- sends out a wave of sand that deals damage to enemies. damage radius would be cone shaped.Leveling up increases range and damage

      2)Temporal Displacement- all enemies in a radius around chronos would be slowed down by 75%. leveling up increases duration and radius

      3)Temporal Cycle- a self buff that increase gun damge(20%), fire rate,(30%) decreases reload time(,30%) it also increases the projectile speed(45%). Leveling up increaes duration

      4) Chronal Vortex- works similar to mag bullet attractor but bullet's dont get attracted to it and instead enemies will target the victim (the victim will not get damaged) until Chronos runs out of energy ( similar to nyx's absorb), Chronos and target,(both will have an increased threat level) are immobile when skill is active. The damage collected would then work like nyx's absorb

      The first ability does nothing related to time, even though it is a metaphor for the flow of time, and neither does the fourth ability. The two temporal abilities are interesting though.

      One ability that would make more sense would be an enemy debuff that causes armor and shields to age more quickly, thus becoming less effective and powerful. It could do the same to enemy guns, thus making them possibly backfire and blow up in the enemy's face.

      Another possible ability could be something that regens part of you and your allies health, shields, and ammo supply; making them almost "as good as new".

      I'm just bouncing ideas though. It is still your idea.

      the 1st doesn't match the theme of time, you said a wave right, not an hour glass so it doesn't match the theme

      2nd is good, i would want that

      3rd, I'm not sure if the gun damage has something to do with time, but I like it but don't make things too OP got it, no it's fine except I can't really picture gun damage as relating with time.

      4th sounds too much like Bullet attractor or Absorb like you said, bullet attractor because at the death, the target becomes volatile and on Absorb, it's the same thing, you can't take an ultimate that has already been used, look at the ultimates, they're the only abilities that are supposed to be unique, by the way it reminded me also of Vauban's Vortex when you said "Chronal Vortex".


      you didn't even add how these abilities happen like slowing down time to slow down enemies, speed up parts, rip space-time, stuff like that.

      1) Draws a random first move from a pool at the start of the game. The level of this move affects the level of the drawn move 

      2) Increases rare drops and heath and energy orbs for a small amount of time 

      3) Chooses a random buff for friendlies or debuff for enemies, each has a different visual affect on the affected enemy or friend 

      4) Deals a random amount of damage at a random range. (min and ma damage and range)

      The chance of higher damage and range can be increased by mods, this includes all appicable powers 

      Her name might be Rakki, which is Japanese for "Lucky" 

      She might have a lotus flower on one arm and a clover on the other 


      Another one might be Heiko, which is Japenese for "Equalibrium"

      2) Provides a damage boost for friendlies and a damage decrease for enemies

      The head of the 'Frame should be spilt into two, half white and half black. The rest of the 'Frame should have an even amount of both black and white in various patterns. Parts that are black may have sharper edges and the parts that are white should have curves. 

      These are just two rough Ideas for new 'Frames The moves need improvements and actual stats, the name may need a rework too.

She would look like Oberon, but with a dress, and a helmet that looks like Trinity's. Her default colors would be grey and green, with the energy being orange. The powers she would have are the following:

      Linear-25 energy-Titana thrusts forword, knocking any enemy in front of her away.

    • An infested or bio-altered frame would be badass. With movements that are similar to running on all fours and primal. Two paths I can think of are similar to a wolf or cat that is a combat oriented frame, or an ape like style bulky frame built for a tank like nature.

      Cat/Wolf frame: KILLJOY

      Gender: Female

      Abilities: 1. Pounce - a combination utility leap/escape or if it connects with an enemy causes knockdown and a special bite animation with a small bleeding dot.

      2. Roar - Similar to Phorids scream that drains shields and health.

      3. Pack mentality - (SUPPORT)a passive aura buff that increases your groups stamina and armor.

      4. Bloodrage - All Killjoys attacks have an increased range, attack speed, and lifesteal for X time.


      Gorilla type frame : Bulwark

      Gender: Male

      Abilities : 1. Bash - Double fist smashes the ground, Small cone area of effect DPS/disorient in front of Bulwark.

      2. Defiance - Bulwark beats his chest providing a personal armor and health buff.

      3. Dominance - (SUPPORT) Large radius Armor drop for enemies.

      4. Devastation - Similar to the Barbarians cyclone ability from the Diablo series.

      (25 / 50 / 100) - Points towards projectiles and basic melee

      Duration dependent on damage taken (could last forever if not hit)

      Effected by Strength and Efficiency


      Noxious Exploit (50 power)

      The Tenno exposes its weaponry to the decay of the fallen, giving them an infectious coating

      (40 / 80 / 120) - Points towards Viral damage (ontop of what effect is already there)

      (20 / 40 / 60) - Seconds towards how long this will last

      (10% / 15% / 20%) - Bonus status effect for the current duration

      Due to change dependent on the current build of the weapon in use

      Effected by Strength, Efficiency, and Duration


      Emission (75 power)

      The Tenno sublimates the fallen within radius to choke the enemy out

      (1st / 2nd / 3rd) - Size towards effected enemy corpses (because I dont know what distances to use)

      (40 / 80 / 120) - Points towards Gas damage within the cloud created

      (40 / 60 / 120) - Seconds towards the clouds duration

      (20% / 25% / 30%) Status chance for the cloud

      Effected by Strength, Efficiency, Duration, and Distance


      Osmosis (100 power)

      The Tenno pulls in nearby enemies and absorbs them rejuvinating its health to prolong the battle

      (5 / 10 / 15) enemies absorbed in a static radius which is undetermined

      (20% / 40% / 60%) Health restored

      Bosses Unaffected

      Effected by Strength and Efficiency


      Warframe look and feel:

      Just smaller than what currently is the shortest warframe (I dont know which one that is)

      just faster than the fastest warframes natural speed (I believe its loki)

      Natural stance would be lanky and semi-supported (as in hunched or limped stance)

      Body layout would look like a damaged version of Grey Fox from the Metal Gear Solid video game ( or Excalibur but more rounded and damaged)

      the different sections of the warframe would be 50/50 between armor and infected flesh

      colour patterns would be typical between that 50/50 and energy colour

      maybe this (if implemented [most likely not]) warframe could be the first to implement different animations for sliding and wall running due to the warframes withered and slightly broken physique (of those I dont have complete ideas of how that would work)

      It could be obtainable through like an infected boss / event / planet either new or existing (disregarding the infected bosses already droping Nyx or Nekros respectively [Phorid / Lephantis])



      With everything stated above, I think I managed to hit all relatable notes to that effected with a warframe

    • im not hating or anything but most the ideas are like other existing frames. there should be like a rival concept where like some shapeshifter or ^^^transformation^^^ takes place. something new. gravity earthquakes and stuff are existed already. 

      to go into melee bases i would like a frame that has an increase in agility and hit range. the weapons like valkyr but more effect to multi-target attack but can also slip through a crowd with easy.

      i believe there should be somewhat of an infested theme in a frame, 

      (stalker smokiness looks legit) 

      like ash's shuriken skill, there should be like a gunslinging attribute, we have the sword unsheathe speed but the weapon swap is a bit slow for a fast passed gamer,( so a fast passed frame since most the time there is.

      i like ash's bladestorm but i want to be able to use it how i want to instead of random targets.

      maybe there should be like a mod for whips too, ( ninja assassin reference) since this game seems to be of ninja arts or something,

    • My suggestion for a plant based warframe would be Gaia. Basically her powers would go like this:

      Vine - Gaia shoots out a vine at an enemy, impaling them and any other enemies behind them.


      Bark - Gaia gives all other players an extra 150 shields, that will not regenerate once damaged.


      Root Wall - Roots shoot out of the ground, making a semi-circular wall that can be destroyed by enemies. If not damaged by enemies the wall will eventually rot away over time.


      Entangle - Plants shoot out of the ground in a circle around gaia, stunning all enemies, dealing moderate damage, and doing poison damage over time.

      Keep in mind, this is a very rough draft idea, but feel free to make comments on changes and whatnot.

      Photons are basically little packages of energy(1 photon = 1 quantum of light)

      Having the ability of manipulate photons, concentrating them or disperse them

      Ability 1: Small Burst LAZER: concentrate a beam of light, puncture + doing heat damage Cost: 25 energyDamage: 150/250/350/450

      Chain Reaction: Shoots 1 beam of photon onto 1 enemy, causing electrons to go into excited stat, thus emitting more photons, nearby enemies are hit and emits more photons, etc.

      Stats: shoots 1 beam, costs 100 energy, deals 1000/1500/2000/2500 damage, dealing 60/70/80/90% of the damage to enemies within 1m/2m/3m/4m of the one being hit, it goes on

      Frame name? Why 'Colt' sounds about right IMHO... and I agree with the cowboy-esque theme although I see the abilities differing somewhat from your suggestions.

      I intentionally stayed away from assigning ANY actual numbers to these abilities as that will be the Designer's area of expertise for balance's sake.

      1. Gunfighter's Glare - a small cone shaped breif stun similar to current shotgun blast mechanic including the falloff w/t distance. (effective distance/duration increase with ability rank) I reworked your original taunt because a radius attack made little sense to me in a gunfighter frame.

      2. Deadeye - Timed boost that increases 'Colt's' status chance and critical chance / critical damage with equipped weapon (effective % increase and duration of boost increases with ability rank). This made better sense to me personally than *another* ammo forage ability as these are already covered nicely by ammo mutation / ammo scavenger.

      In my opinion 3 & 4 should be reversed as Bullet Time would be a devastating team boost and should be a top teir ability. Gunslinger ?maybe?  renamed to Bulletstorm and merely use the existing Multi-shot & punch through mechanics to put more lead into the air?

    • i think a warframe whith arcane like skills (like a mage) would be nice. dealing primary eksplosive damage. like arcane missils. not really damaging but knock Down targets. they will be fired from a ball of energy which can be casted instantly or charged. the charging will draning energy rapidly and leave you vulnerable to attacks but will release more missils and a little more damage(kamehameha!!!!!). and an ultimate that will give you more shield (being affected by current shild value by 25%/50%75%/100%) and all damage you recive (not by other tennos) in the duration of the power 5sec/10sec/20sec/30sec will give you damage bonus, somthing like 50%/100%/150%/200% bonus damage. whith a Little damage resistens, 10%/20%/30%/40% damage resistens. activating the ability will give you fuld shield and Health. just some ideas of how he/she could Work.

    • I think we need a time-bending frame: something with a name like Discord. Name: Discord Stats: Health:90 Armor:110 Shields:40 Energy:100

      Codex Entry: Out of the depths of space, the time-manipulating Discord has come to wreak havoc on all unsuspecting foes.

      Abilities: State of Flux (25 energy): Reverses all enemies (in a certain radius)' movements by 15 seconds (1 minute when maxed out). This includes bullets which have been shot, and only affects the player. Matrix Beam: (50 energy): Sends out a malicious beam of light, slowing enemies who do not initially die from the blast. Metronome: (100 energy): Summons a huge hourglass symbol underneath a selected group of enemies, causing them to move every 5 seconds, and hurting them with magnetic damage the entire time.

      He would look quite mysterious, with hourglass shapes on his arms and torso. His colour scheme would be black, red, and bright green.

    • I was thinking of a Chronomancer. Similar to Time manipulation, the only difference from other suggestions and mine is that he/she would target one individual target and cause massive damage.

      Name: Sa' ah

      Description: Equipped with a Warframe suit, Sa' ah can channel the Chronomancy abilities with a powerful and deadly accuracy. A Chronomancer who froze themselves in time with their own arcane arts, Sa' ah awoke to seek vengance on those who forced them to hide in time while their kind was driven to extinction. 

      Stats:

      Health - 100

      Armor - 100

      Shield - 150

      Power - 300

      Abilities:

      Spacial Rend - Using forbidden arts, Sa' ah destroys one enemy's defenses, leaving them completely vunerable to incoming attacks.

      Basically, bending a breaking the fabrics of space and time, Sa' ah freezes one enemy (even a boss) and wreaks havoc on Armor and Shield. Breaks once Shield/Armor is depleted. Uses 100 Energy and 50 Shield.

      Timekeeper - Being the last of their kind turns Sa' ah into the Timekeeper, an honor reserved for a master of Chronomancy. Sa' ah can change the speed at which Time flows around them freely, slowing down enemies or speeding up their own attacks.

      Slows down enemies on the map for up to 30 seconds max. Uses 50 Energy, and half of the Stamina bar.

      Hourglass - The Chronomancer allows one enemy to age in seconds, weaking the unfortunate one that crossed their path.

      Sa' ah depletes the health of an enemy by using this, letting the flow of this force errode their shields, and health until weak (maybe just depletes health by a small amount over a set amount of time). Uses 125 Energy, and 25 Health.

      Hour of Death - Sa' ah calls upon a dark art and brings upon their enemy their hour of death, effectively killing them as they wither up and die in Time's fleeting embrace. 

      Kills one enemy, and depletes 100% of their Shields, Energy, Stamina and Ammo;  and 90% of their health. ( Limited to one use per planet per day? Or something that makes this a really risky only-once kind of ability.)


      Seeing how incredibly powerful this Frame would be, he'd probably be a super hard frame to find and build - and we should only reward those that work for it. Finding and grinding the parts and blueprints would be the only way to obtain Sa' ah, and his blueprint would be the reward for a lategame boss that requires several requisites be done before confronting them. If you fail to get the blueprint you want, you would have to redo all the requisites again, as these would reset to ensure players are motivated to continue working for Sa' ah.

      As for appearance, I imagine there to be golds and coppers, sand colored decorations in honor of the sands of time. Perhaps a simplistic frame, or a regal one.

      3)Atomic Dismantling- causes Fissile to dematerialize atoms from each other, temporarily gaining immunity to physical attacks (more like Fissile dematerializes the molecules (which seperate the atoms) when a physical attack occurs.


      4)Fission- deploys a cube that causes atoms within enemies to react and fill then with the pure heat of radiation, dealing damage and confusing the enemy

      3 abillty = any 3 abillty like ... and so on 

      it would be a great chance for making it a more personal frame with the abillties u like....... and it should be able to use any waframe accessories like valkyrs bonds and nekros syandana  and so on.....

      1)Energy Burst- sends light energy to enemies at the speed of light, dealing radiation damage while temporarily stunning the targets for a very short duration                 This ability deals 50/90/120/150 radiation damage to enemies within a 3m/5m/7m/9m radius, it targets 3/5/7/9 enemies when cast and stun lasts for 1.5/2.5/3.5/5.                                                                                                   Duration and Strength mods are affected, Range mods aren't affected.

      2)Plasma Presence- fuses his physical form and light together, changing into a form of light matter that increases strength (damage dealt), speed and mobility as well as defense (damage taken), but for the cost of drawing enemies towards him.   This ability increases strength, speed, mobility by 15%/25%/45%/75% and defense by 5%/10%/15%/20% but will attract enemies within a 5m/7m/9m/12m radius (this happens because he is so bright even for enemy AI), this lasts for 5/7/8/10 seconds.                                                    Strength, Duration and Range Mods are not affected. 

      3)Wall of Light- deploys a large wall made of incinerating rays of light, vaporizing any enemy who dare to walk through this one-sided barrier.                                       This ability deploys a wall of light that goes 3m/5m/7m/10m wide, and deals 100/120/145/175 Heat damage to foes who step through it, this lasts for 7/9/10/12 seconds.                                                                                                 Strength mods are affected, Range and Duration mods aren't affected.

      A Blinding death awaits our foes tenno                                                                  4)Radiant Flash- changes himself into a bright glowing cocoon made of light, gathering light energy then releasing with one final burst that incinerates (highly deals damage) and blinds enemies.                                                                            This ability charges up for 10/8/7/5 seconds then releases it into a big burst dealing 100/200/400/800 Radiation and Blast damage to enemies within a 5m/7m/10m/12m and blinds any enemy (including damaged ones) within a 7m/10m/12m/15m radius.                                                                                          Range mods are affected, Duration and Strength mods aren't affected.

      Photon is a form of energy, he is the shining ray of death, mind your eyes tenno.

      Abillities are:

      1) Plasma bolt-Deals damage to the target and causing blast damage around the target area.Staggering enemies around the target(Works like Frost's Freeze but has blast damage)

      2)Scanblast- (Exodus) punches the ground with plasma, sending waves of destruction towards the enemies(works like Banshee's Sound Quake)

      3)Energy cloak- Reflects damage towards the enemies

      4)Radial Blast- Enemies around Exodus will get fried by a superheated stream of plasma energy ( Juts like Volt's overload)

      1) Fling-choose one enemy and send it flying. if it hits another enemy then it will stagger the hit enemy while the flying enemy takes (150/200/250/300) impact damage for Y number of targets hit

      Enemies hit with the flung enemy take (100/150/200/250) impact damage when hit

      2) Sluggish Warp-Casts a spell (with a 2 second animation) that causes gravity to weighs enemies in a sphere area down causing them to move (2x/3x/4x/5x) Can still shoot at regular speed

      Lasts (5s/10s/15s/20s)


      3) Weightless-Casts a spell (with a 2 second animation) makes all teammates jump higher for a short period of time.

      Can be temporarily deactivated with a melee slam attack

      (5s/10s/15s/20s) duration


      4) Kinetic Recoil-Sucks enemies within a (5m/7m/8m/10m) radius into a circular whirl that spins around the player. Once it reaches its charge up time (6s/8s/9s/10s) it will fling enemies into walls, off cliffs, into other players, into misc. obstacles like explosive barrels, or into other enemies

      If it hits another enemy it will act as if Fling has been casted leaving the ragdoll enemy to be able to knock down and hit other enemies.

      If it hits an explosive barrel or a wall it will deal (800/900/1000/1200) Impact damage

      If it hits a misc. obstacle the obstacle will react normally. i.e. explosive barrel will explode, if enemy lands on patch of fire enemy will catch fire

      If enemy is flung off cliff enemy will die

    • Might as well take the shock paddles to one of my three old ideas then. Designation= Feynman. Capability= Nanotechframe. (not in order) Ability 1= Primordial Cloud: Feynman disintegrates into a roiling cloud of buzzing particles, gaining 35% Armor, decreaseing the effects of status effects upon his/her self, and provideing 15% armor to other frames who remain in the residue cloud she leaves behind (Still capable of using firearms as the cloud, weapons float along inside of it), Ability 2: Swarm Wall: Feynman disintegrates and reinetgrates his/herself into an organized solid wall and rushes forwards dealing 100/200/300/400impact damage and bulldozeing foes in his/her way (Possible syndicate mod= Adaptive Wall: Swarm Wall absorbs elemental damage taken and deals it as part of his/her attack, either half the impact damage is converted into the struck element or it is dealt as a bonus ont top of the impact), Decay: Feynman tosses a ball of particles/nanites at a foe, dealing 25/50/75/100/125/150/175/200 damage, reduceing armor by 2/4/6/8/10,12,14,16% and slowing the target down gradually by ?%., Finally, we have Effiecency: Halveing all health and energy returns, Feynman concentrates on increaseing the bonds of ally matter and decreaseing the bonds of enemy matter. All Modification bonuses implemented on allies are improved by 4/8/12% while all foes receive a blanket -4/8/12/16% reduction to armor, damage, and . . .um. . .whatever else increases as enemy level increases. Visually, all I have is his/her default helmet, which has a single line visor across the front, has a pair of transmission antennas above each space where ears would be, and has a honey-comb style set of holes all around the body from which his/her powers erupt from in the form of nanites/particles. Standard color is white with yellow and black "stripeing" which roughly resembling a bee's and a crystalline orange visor. Thats all for that one. Still a work in progress, phew.

    • What about an Earth based frame. you technically have all the other base elements covered: Fire (ember), Water (Hydroid), Air (Zephyr), Life (Trinity), Death (Nekros). you don't however have an Earth frame, as I see it that might be hard to squeeze into the whole "your in space thing"; but you culd make it a METAL based frame, with metal bending powers. I don't have any ideas on what those powers would be exactly but it's not too hard I think to come up with something, seeing as Your surrounded by metal in practically every map.

      I've got some ideas! For the Earth Frame ablities.

      HURL: Throws a heavy rock at an enemy, which burst on impact (Either an enemy or a wall)

      ROCKY HIDE: Like Iron Skin, but covers the frame in a rocky hide for a limited time. Deflects bullets, and shatters Mele weapons

      SESMIC CRUSH: Two large boulders are pulled from beneth the ground, and slammed together. Anything unlucky cought between will be crushed.

      ROCKY IMPLAEMENT: Large rocky spikes are pulled out from the ground, impaling everything nearby.

      Ability 3: Hacking: Turns enemy robotics to fight for the Tenno, including Grineer rollerz. Stuns everything for a short period before turning them to your side(Infested can only be stunned) , also autohacks consoles. Points to the direction, enemies in a fan-shaped area within a certain distance gets hacked.                                                   Stats: Cost 50 energy, Width: 5m/8m/12m/16m, range: 10m/15m/20m/25m, hacking stuns enemy for 3/4/6/8 seconds, control last for 60/100/140/180seconds

      ability 4: Drones: Send out a group of mini-drones capable of multiple tasks. Only cost energy to release them, after the first release, they will stay with you for the whole game, comes back to your warframe to recharge every once a while, if destroyed, requires more energy to regenerate.                                                                                 Stats: cost 100 energy, release both attack drones and shield drones

      attack drones:1/3/5/7 in a total of 2/4/6/9 drones, shield drone = total drones - attack drones, drone weapons: burst rifle/machine gun /machine gun + short range electric pulse/small rocket launcher + short range electric pulse, (shield, armor, health) of drones:(50,50,100)/(75,70,110)/(100,90,120)(150,120,150), drone stats are boosted by warframe shield/armor/health mods

      This is really nice ! Although I may not have thought of the exactly same abilities, this is an idea worth thinking about

      About Earth -based warframe, I thought of this : 150 HP 100 SP 100 EP 65 AP First ability : Crack : creates a crack (from your Frame) in the direction of the crosshair, dealing heavy impact damage at the center and trapping enemies while other enemies around it takes half damage and are inflicted Impact proc. Influenced by all power mods Second one : Nature's Haven : depending on the closest natural element around you and other warframes (in a laaaaaarge radius) you obtain a buff Rock : shields and armor are buffed Water : all movement speeds are buffed Trees'n'stuff : health and shields are constantly being regenerated (Synergy with one's personal health and shield regeneration rate) Ice and snow : increase max energy and gives you a flat amount of energy regen flesh (infected tileset and infected stuff on the floor in infest alerts) : high h-t-h damage buff Instead of this ability, a mud clone of every frame in the squad would do too if you want a more earth oriented frame Third one : Calling Mountains (it's a bit bad but I can't think of anything else) : suddely rise the ground, inflicting (and procs) impact damage at a location, the deformation lasts creating a obstacle

      Ultimate and fourth : Stalagmite : raise spikes fround the ground dealing heavy puntcure damage and send surviving enemies in the air

      If you are referring to the frame that they had an artist make the skill images for, that was a fan concept they used specifically to show the development process for the creation of the images. It was not a concept for an upcoming Warframe at the time, so it would be speculation to say one is coming.

      This is Destiny (One of many worlds)

      She Is a master of outcomes, she gains advantage upon her foes, which will lead to their tragedy.

      Destiny's abilities are very elusive, creating ittle changes to the very land around her.

      1)Loop- casts an unending nightmare upon an enemy, causing them to repeat their actions in the same spot, being defenseless and easy to kill.

      2)Paradox- changes the very tragedy of her and her allies, removing any ally debuff or restoring defense.

      3)Fear Ring- casts enemies's deepest fears into reality, closing them into one area then stunning them to be taken out.

      Fate is Confusing and deadly, tenno

      4)Twist of Fate- warps the very fate itself, casting random upon your allies and debuffs upon your enemies every 5 seconds before releasing a final time warp that potentially deals massive damage to any enemies around it. (not too OP because the buff changes not adds).

      Destiny is the link of alternate worlds, she will think the same everywhere, tenno.
