Magazine warp is nice to combine with wildfire because it enables you to have 8 bullets.
With the new corrupted mods http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Heavy_Caliber Might be a good idea since recoil doesn't really affect the torid that much and could provide a straight damage boost. Takes a while to get/mod it completely though.

it became -accuracy, wich might still work at close range but you wont be able to aim carfully at the weakspots (or dead bodies in the air) for extra damage.
I run mine with 4 forma, maxed Split Chamber, Serration, Speed Trigger and Fast Hands. I added an 8 point Heavy Caliber for some inaccuracy because I like the double shots from Split Chamber to spread the gas around a bit. Add Hellfire, Stormbringer and Cryo Rounds (all maxed) I do 3348 Radiation and 3534 Viral. Call me weird. I use a different build for Infested. Maybe it's because I kill myself with the Ogris too much...
I usually use similar mods to most of you, although I'm not as crazy about Fast Hands. I think Speed Trigger and either an extra elemental mod or a damage mod would be more useful than faster reload. I usually unload on the bottleneck/ target area and then reload while moving to the next bottleneck, and I don't find faster reload to be particularly useful while moving between target areas. I haven't decided if I like R6 or R8 Heavy Caliber the best yet, but I do like a bit of a decrease in inaccuracy to spread the grenades around a bit more.
I've found Viral/ Radiation, Magnetic/ Toxic, and Blast/Corrosive are the most useful elemental combos for Grineer, Corpus, and Infested, respectively.
The Blast proc against Infested is particularly satisfying, as it knocks them down while they are getting chewed up inside the Blast/Corrosive cloud. Both Blast and Corrosive damage also happen to deal quite a bit of extra damage against the most dangerous Infested enemy, the Ancients, including the Blast damage (with the exception of the Healer, who is the oddball that takes extra damage from Radiation and Cold, contrary to the rest of the Infested).
You're all doing it wrong. No offense, of course. If you want to make the Torid the best it can be, it can do up to 25K gas damage, with 37.5 percent crit every second and a 4.4 multiplier. This is of course very expensive to make, but its possible.
5 or 6 Forma Torid: Serration Maxed on a Polarized Slot, Split Chamber Maxed on a Polarized Slot, Heavy Caliber Maxed on a Polarized Slot, Firestorm Maxed on a Polarized Slot, Infected Clip Maxed on a Polarized Slot, Point Strike Maxed, Hellfire Maxed on a Polarized Slot, and Vital Sense Maxed.
5 Forma if you are okay with a rank 8 Heavy Caliber. 6 Forma, while very expensive and time-consuming, is ideal however for everything to be maxed.
Run this with Mirage on an Orokin Derelict Defense, and you're golden. Hall of Mirrors makes five of this weapon, guys. At that point, without using Eclipse, you're doing upwards of 100,000 damage a second without including critical damages.
Personally I use the Torid in a auto-melee build so its not the main source of my damage (that'd be my D-ninkana). Rather I use Torid for zone control, making areas to fight in advantageously or cut off chokes so I only need to fight from one side. Four forma on the highest-consuming mods, I think. Maxed multishot (for more chances to proc), Maxed serration (cuz damage is always nice), Speed Trigger (to lay down clouds faster), Fast hands (This, along with meleeing partyway through the reload animation brings the reload down low enough that I can jump backwards and reload before I finish my crouch, ready to fight), High Voltage and Thermite Rounds for radiation and proc chance and Malignant Force for viral damage. These four give 90% status chance as well as somewhere around 5.5K damage which is servicable. The fact that it halves the targets health once/twice a tick makes the flat damage it does a lot less relivant as HP drops reverse-exponentially into 5.5k lethal range (especially when fighting one another in gas clouds courtesy of radiation). So, I can gas an area and any fighting that happens in it, I win.
Furthermore it's the only build viable for high waves. When your regular ticks drops, when Ogris weeps in shame, crits (and despite the raw number cloud crits a lot) will wreck everyone who dare to step in the cloud.
Serration, Split Chamber, Heavy Caliber, Point Strike, Vital Sense, Firestorm (24% radius = twice the area), Element 1, Element 2.

Yes, I run mine as gas damage for dealing with infested. I'm a 4 forma build currently, and just under 14k gas damage, with little over 50% chance of a status effect. I currently do not run firestorm, as I need to do forma #5 to be able to equip it (3 points shy of being able to equip it), and I actually like the current build. I do admit though, the increased area of the cloud would be nice.
