Let's step aside the farming questions and talk about lore. Tenno, as creatures of Void in some way, may freely visit Orokin Towers. Also we have Baro Ki'Teer, who somehow manages to sneak into our beloved space abyss to bring us his delicious trash~ Void wares. But what about Grineer and Corpus? Like, yes, I know that there's even a particular mission where we sabotage Grineer's or Corpus' portal into the Orokin Tower or Orokin Derelict, but that only adds a few questions to the list.
So, in general, I'd like to discuss how fractions besides Tenno interact with Void and Orokin Towers. Here are some specific subtopics:
1. What happened to Orokin Towers in the first place? If Lua was placed into the Void because it was reasonable (Operators' cryostasis chambers, Sentients' allergy to the Void energy, yadda-yadda), who was bright enough to put research facilities/refuges/space hotels there? And what happened to the Orokin people in these Towers?
2. We all know how Void messed up Zariman, yet Baro is fine despite going into the Void more than hundred times and so are Grineer and Corpus forces inside Orokin Towers. What if, what if, what if Void isn't so deadly as we consider it? Maybe random Corpus/Grineer ship can actually go into the Void without fatal consequences for the crew? If that so, I guess the only reason why Corpus and Grineer don't make such raids into the Void is because without Orokin navigating systems or something like that they're likely to get lost, and THEN they are totally screwed. But maybe you have other thoughts on that.
3. If all invaders become corrupted due to the ability of Neural Sentry, why the gretesk Corpus and Grineer keep trying to invade Orokin Towers? Moreover, those lucky dudes in sabotage missions who manage to get through the portal don't become corrupted in an instant. Maybe Neural Sentries of Towers aren't working actively anymore, so mere mortals of other fractions are able to roam freely (well, almost, considering Corrupted forces, traps and other obstacles)?
So, spaceninjas and superschoolgirls, what'cha think?
