I'm torn on whether I should buy Arcane Fury or Arcane Strike. Fury increases melee damage on a critical hit, and Strike, which increases speed with each hit. I'm looking to apply them to my Hirudo, which is currently a crit build for maximize the healing effect. I have a pretty high attack speed on it so far, combining a Primed Fury with Volt's Speed, and since it heals with the crit damage.
Fairly sure the attack speed is more than okay already, you may as well utilize that speed by going for higher damage, which will not only heal you more with each strike, but take down the targets that would make that healing be a requirement anyways. You can only scroll the mousewheel so fast, so making your melee faster has its limit.
OP here, I haven't gotten either yet, but I recently re-modded my Hirudo to include Berserker, so the speed once I get going is ungodly fast, enough to fly down a hallway with the combo's movement, without even moving forward on my own. And with Shadow step, I have no real need for either arcane. But now that I have such an insane attack speed, I'm wondering what would happen if I added Arcane Fury... O.O :D
Sorry to res an old thread but I thought I'd share my build which just went OP with the addition of Arcane Strike. I went for a Status/Speed build with an Amprex which instantly drops radiation and viral on a group of enemies, then I hit my 2 and dash in with "shocking speed" to cc and add electric status and go to town slide spinning with my Atterax which procs slash and heat. With 4 elemental statuses on each enemy and a +7 healing return giving my 8hp per status per hit per enemy my health bar never dips. I also put "Gladiator Rush - Vice - Might" for the combos and "Blood Rush" for the stacking crit with combo multiplier. That means berserk procs on the first hit and never drops. Just thought I'd share.
