Dog Days is an annual Tactical Alert event. Kela De Thaym comically falls under the effects of some sort of gas leak, promoting a special Rathuum competition with water guns instead of acid throwers.
Mechanics[]
- Rathuum game mode with all participants only equipped with a
Soaktron water gun. Unlike normal Rathuum missions where the first team to reach 25 total kills wins, there is a 5 minute timer and the team with the highest total kills when the time is up wins. - All Warframe health values are set to 100 health and no shields and their health slowly regenerates akin to one
Rejuvenation. All Executioners have no shields and no armor. - Most equipped mods are disabled.
- All Warframe abilities and passives are disabled.
- Instead of the normal Rathuum maps, all games are played on the same singular beach map.
- Ammo pickups are replaced by water vents. Health and Energy Orbs do not spawn.
- Players can gain 3 Lob Blobs, water balloons that explode on impact, from water vents with floating red balloons. These act like Thrown Secondary weapons with low projectile speed.
- Any Lob Blobs the player has are lost upon death.
- All Warframes will wear a cosmetic floating inner tube. All Executioners will wear special outfits, including different colors, cosmetic inflatable armbands, and/or straw hats. The "KILLED" message is changed to "SOAKED" and a water splash effect will appear on death.
- Players' rolling distance is reduced by ~50%.

- Resource Boosters and Resource Drop Chance Boosters do not increase gains.
- The Dog Days Ephemera is a limited-time seasonal item that is removed once the Dog Days Tactical Alert ends.
- The Soaker Ephemera, however, is unlocked permanently after acquisition and is not a limited-time item.

Tips[]
- Despite Warframe abilities and passives being disabled, certain mods and weapon passives are not:
- Amalgam Barrel Diffusion and Amalgam Serration grant dodge speed and sprint speed, respectively.
- Praedos grants parkour velocity if Evolved Ascension has been selected.
- Since all parkour maneuvers are allowed, the player can perform Jump Kicks in order to inflict Knockdown on the Executioners, making them significantly easier to shoot. This also deals a small amount of damage to them.
- The True Master's Font damage blessing increases Soaktron/Lob Blob damage.
- Direct hits from Lob Blobs can instantly kill the Executioners.
- Use Waypoints to mark where Lob Blobs respawn in order to memorize where they can be picked up.
- Enemies that beeline toward the player from afar will move in a straight line, making them very easy to hit despite the Soaktron's slow projectile speed.

Trivia[]
- The beach arena map used in the event resembles the shores of the Plains of Eidolon. In addition, buoys surround the arena that resemble the Unum tower in shape.
- The Roller Floofs for sale from Nakak can be found scattered around the arena, although like the decoration version they are purely cosmetic.
Bugs[]
- The Executioners can get stuck on top of the vault trucks around the arena and spin around aimlessly.
- As of Update 30.3.4 the beach arena map can appear blown out and overexposed for some players, even if brightness levels are normal in the rest of the game. This only seems to affect the version of the map used in the game mode and not the Captura version. The Captura version of the map is also missing volumetric lighting even if the setting is enabled.

- Fixed various pathing issues with Executioner Zura in Dog Days.
Hotfix 33.6.7 (2023-08-31)
- Fixed the Vigorous Swap Mod applying in Dog Days when switching between the Soaktron and Lob Blobs.
- With the inclusion of the Lob Blobs Secondary, this Mod just slipped by the “no Mods, Buffs, Companions, or Abilities” rules of Dog Days.
- Fixed a script error with the Lob Blobs tutorial popup in Dog Days.

- Fixed the incorrect mask colors for Executioner Vay Molta in Dog Days.

- Fixed slow rolling speed in Dog Days missions. We cleaned up our molasses spill, sorry about that.

- Helminth Weapon Damage Invigorations will now no longer apply to Dog Days missions.
- Dog Days was always intended to have everyone on the same level to enjoy some summer fun! The ability to increase the Soaktron’s damage via Invigorations went against that principle, so it has been removed.

Dog Days returns on all platforms today at 2 p.m. ET and will run until June 29th at 2 p.m. ET. This year your favorite rewards return but there are some new additions that can be earned!

Hotfix 30.3.4 (2021-06-02)
Gear up for the splashdown with the Dog Days Ephemera, earnable from Nakak for just 1 Pearl. While this item will disappear from your Inventory at the end of the event, the new Soaktron Rifle Skin is a permanent Customization! Redeem from Nakak for 490 Pearls and give your favorite Rifle a refreshing new look, year-round.
