Sun & Moon are the signature Dual Nikanas of Teshin. They are used by the Drifter in Duviri and can be manufactured for Warframe use.
Characteristics[]
- This weapon primarily deals
Slash damage. - Stance slot has polarity, matching Mountain's Edge stance.
Drifter Combat[]
- Power Strike (blocking + heavy attack, default RMB + MMB ) sends forth two arcs of explosive energy that deal Electricity damage with guaranteed procs.
Advantages over other Melee weapons (excluding modular weapons):
- Normal Attack (wiki attack index 1)
- Above average attack range (2.60 m)
- High crit multiplier (2.40x)
Disadvantages over other Melee weapons (excluding modular weapons):
- Normal Attack (wiki attack index 1)
- Below average total damage (190)
- Below average status chance (22.00%)
- Low disposition (●●○○○ (0.80x))

The blueprint is rewarded on completion of The Duviri Paradox Quest. Additional copies can be purchased from Cephalon Simaris for

Trivia[]
- Sun & Moon are heavily inspired by the Daishō (大小), a combination of Katana and Wakizashi exclusively wielded by Samurai warriors during feudal Japan.
- If the player has no melee weapon equipped during the climactic battle of The War Within, the player's Warframe will automatically wield Sun; in this form it is identical to an unmodded Nikana and is dubbed the "Teshin Nikana."
- Sun & Moon were first introduced in The New War, used by playable Teshin. However, he used the Dual Sword stances Carving Mantis, Crossing Snakes, and Swirling Tiger instead of the unique Dual Nikana stance Mountain's Edge. Sun & Moon also had the ability to change between Cold, Electricity, and Heat elements.
- Sun & Moon use the Nikana Dax Skin sheathe.
- Prior to Update 23.0 (2018-06-15), Teshin's dual nikanas used the Ymir-Form Gemini Nikana Sheath.
