An energy projectile bursts forth from the Steflos as it rushes towards enemies. The projectile's duration increases when it hits an enemy. When Citrine fires the Steflos, its projectile speed increases.

Steflos is  Citrine's signature shotgun that fires large  Heat energy projectiles. These projectiles are initially short-ranged, but grow in size and last longer as it passes through enemies. In Citrine's hands, the weapon gains increased Projectile Speed.

Characteristics[]

  • This weapon deals primarily  Heat damage.
  • Projectiles have lifespan of 0.6 seconds.
  • Projectiles grow in size and last longer as it hits enemies.
    • Each enemy hit increases projectile lifespan by 50%, up to a max projectile lifespan of 10 seconds.

Advantages over other Primary weapons (excluding modular weapons):

  • Projectiles have a base thickness of ~2 meters.
  • Innate Infinite Body Punch Through.
  • Normal Attack (wiki attack index 1)
    • High total damage (320)
    • Above average crit multiplier (2.20x)

Disadvantages over other Primary weapons (excluding modular weapons):

  • Has linear damage falloff from 100% to 3.125% from 8m to 16m target distance (distances are affected by Projectile Speed).
  • Projectile has travel time.
  • Limited base range of 12 meters (can be increased with Projectile Speed mods).
  • Innate punch through does not apply to surfaces if hitting with the central portion of the projectile, requiring punch through mods.
  • Normal Attack (wiki attack index 1)
    • Low crit chance (14.00%)
    • Very low maximum falloff distance (16.0 m)
    • Low reload speed (2.40 s)
    • Below average magazine (12)
    • Below average fire rate (3.00 attacks/sec)
    • Very low ammo max (36)
    • Below average disposition (●●●●○ (1.15x))

Acquisition

Steflos's blueprint and components can be obtained from Mirror Defense Tyana Pass on Mars, whose access requires completion of Heart of Deimos; the blueprint comes from Rotation A, while the Barrel, Receiver, and Stock come from Rotation B.

Alternatively they can be purchased from Otak in the Necralisk, Deimos with  Belric Crystal Fragment and  Rania Crystal Fragment, awarded from Mirror Defense in quantities of 5 (7 on The Steel Path) cycling between the two from collecting Citrine's Remnants, and in quantities of 10 (15 on The Steel Path) per rotation; each component requires 250 Belric and 150 Rania, while the blueprint requires 500 Belric and 300 Rania, totaling to 1,250 Belric and 750 Rania Crystal Fragments.

All components can be traded between players, but not the blueprint.

Item Source Chance Expected Nearly Guaranteed
 Receiver Mirror Defense / B 8% ~ 12 B Rotations 82 ± 27 B Rotations
 Stock Mirror Defense / B 8% ~ 12 B Rotations 82 ± 27 B Rotations
 Barrel Mirror Defense / B 8% ~ 12 B Rotations 82 ± 27 B Rotations
 Blueprint Mirror Defense / A 10% ~ 10 A Rotations 65 ± 21 A Rotations

All drop rates data is obtained from DE's official drop tables stored on Module:DropTables/data. See Mission Rewards#Standard Missions for definitions on reward table rotations.
