Each charged attack turns the enemy's pain into a healing pulse that washes over allies. Also, creates resistance to status effects when held.

The Sancti Magistar is the Syndicate variant of the Magistar Magistar, available from New Loka. It has the unique ability to heal the wielder and nearby allies when connecting with a heavy attack, and also gives a chance to resist status effects when it is wielded.

Acquisition[]

  • The Sancti Magistar can be acquired by reaching the Rank of Flawless with New Loka and purchasing from its offerings with ReputationLarge 125,000. As with all Syndicate weapon offerings, the Sancti Magistar is not included as a free offering option for reaching its respective access rank.
  • Syndicate weapons can also be acquired by trading with other players. Note that in order to be tradable, a weapon must be unranked, unused, with no Forma or Orokin Catalyst installed.
  • Players must reach Mastery Rank 8 or higher to acquire the Sancti Magistar, either by trading or through the Syndicates themselves.

Notes[]

  • When striking enemies with a heavy attack, the Sancti Magistar emits a pulse that heals the wielder and all allies within a 15 meter radius for 5% of the damage dealt.
  • When wielded, the Sancti Magistar gives a 20% chance to resist Status Effects.

  • Installing the Magistar Incarnon Genesis requires 20 PathosClamp Pathos Clamps, 70 Dracroot Dracroot, and 150 Aggristone Aggristones.
  • When installed, the first Evolution tier is unlocked. The following Evolution tiers, their requirements for unlocking them, and their related perks, are shown below;

Evolution I[]

  • Reach 6x Combo and then Heavy Attack to activate Incarnon Form.
  • Incarnon Form increases Initial Combo and Wind Up Speed
    • +100% Melee Damage
    • +30 Initial Combo
    • +50% Heavy Attack Wind Up Speed
    • +10% Sprint Speed
    • +10% to Bullet Jump.
    • On SanctiMagistar Sancti Magistar, +5% Lifesteal for all combos and another +20% Lifesteal for non-heavy combos.
  • Incarnon Form lasts for 180 seconds and persists until death.

Evolution II[]

Unlock Challenge: Complete a solo mission with this weapon equipped.

  • Perk 1: Crushing Verdict:
    • Increase Damage by +100 (Magistar) / +20 (Sancti).
    • With Channeled Ability active: Increase Follow Through by +100%.
  • Perk 2: Edge Of Justice:
    • Increase Damage by +100 (Magistar) / +20 (Sancti).
    • With Melee Weapon Equipped: +40% attack speed.
      • Does not apply to quickswap melee. Requires either by going into a mission with only a melee weapon equipped or by holding the weapon swap key (default F ).

Evolution III[]

Unlock Challenge: Activate this weapon's Incarnon form 6 times in a mission.

  • Perk 1: Seismic Slam:
    • +100% Slam Radius.
  • Perk 2: Orokin Reach:
    • +1.4 Range.
  • Perk 3: Swift Break:
    • +30% Heavy Attack Wind Up Speed.

Evolution IV[]

Unlock Challenge: Perform 20 downed Finisher attacks.

  • Perk 1: Flashing Bleed:
  • Perk 2: Subtle Force:
    • Increase Critical Chance by +8%.
    • Increase Status Chance by +8%.
  • Perk 3: Critical Parallel:
    • Increase Critical Chance by +16% (Magistar) / +12% (Sancti).
    • Increase Critical Damage Multiplier by +1x (Magistar) / +0.2 (Sancti).

Trivia[]

  • The concept for the healing effect of the Sancti Magistar was designed by player (PS4)Sreza and the Design Council.
  • Prior to Update 26.0 (2019-10-31)'s removal of Channeling and charged attacks, unchanneled charge attacks with the Sancti Magistar, regardless of mods or crits, used to always be capped off at 200 health per enemy hit. Channeling allowed you to heal beyond that cap.

Bugs[]

  • Healing pulse occasionally does not take critical damage and combo counter into account.

Hotfix 33.5.3 (2023-06-23)

  • Fixed several issues with Warframe Overguard reducing the effectiveness of the following supportive abilities/effects:
    • Fixed Sancti Magistar’s heal being capped at 500 Health over 5 seconds.

Update 26.0 (2019-10-31)
Actual patch notes made a mistake on old follow through.

  • Damage increased from 120 to 240.
  • Range increased from 1 to 2.6.
  • Status Chance increased from 10% to 20%.
  • Critical Chance increased from 20% to 30%
  • Slam Attack increased from 240 to 720.
  • Slide Attack increased from 240 to 480.
  • Parry Angle set to 50.
  • Follow Through decreased from 0.9 to 0.4.

  • Fixed blocking procs with the Sancti Magistar resulting in being stuck in place due to proc blocking, and can often be stuck until you are downed.
