Notes[]

  • Does little benefit to Archguns with infinite punch through such as the Fluctus Fluctus and the Cortege Cortege, save for the bonus damage.

Tips[]

  • Highly recommended on Archguns that use high-explosive rounds such as the Grattler Grattler (KuvaGrattler Kuva) or very large rounds such as the Corvas Corvas (CorvasPrime Prime) so they can maximize their crowd control potential by hitting as many enemies as possible.
  • The Larkspur Larkspur and LarkspurPrime Larkspur Prime's overall DPS also improves with Sabot Rounds, as the mod allows the gun's energy beam to chain to more enemies similar to how the Atomos Atomos or TenetCycron Tenet Cycron benefit from punch-through mods.

Trivia[]

  • A sabot is the term for padding used around bullets or artillery shells of smaller caliber to the gun barrel they are going to be loaded into, ensuring they still get the maximum potential kinetic energy once they exit the muzzle.
  • Curiously, the mod's image shows a Vauban wielding a Gravimag-loaded Fluctus Fluctus, which is an Archgun that already has infinite punch-through.
  • Sabot Rounds is the first and currently only Archgun mod that provides punch-through.
