Until you find your retreive your first weapon, you will have to use your fists (which are very weak) to fight enemies. Sneaking up behind Humanoid enemies and doing a [[stealth]] assassination is the fastest way to take them down (remember that MOAs are immuniate to stealth assassinations). Doing a charged melee attack will knock down any enemy you are fighting (your "fists" use the Obex animations). You can still die though, so it is recommended to avoid combat altogether, sneak around enemies without being seen, and run to retreive each of your items. Once you have your first weapon, it will function like normal, making it easier to kill enemies that cross your path.

Escape is a hidden mission which can only be accessed when the player is defeated and "harvested" by the Harvester. The mission requires the player to collect their confiscated weapons and escape from the Zanuka Project facility in the Corpus Gas City in Jupiter.

DEHarvester

When the player is engaged and defeated by the Harvester, his/her current session will end and automatically tranferred to the Escape mission.

Gameplay

The mission starts with the player being strangled on a Warframe dissecting equipment, as shown previously in the PS4 "The Profit" trailer. The Lotus will then disable the equipment and assist the player in escaping the facility. The mission requires the player to locate and retrieve their equipment before heading to extraction.

At the start of the mission, the player's Warframe powers (e.g. any of the 4 powers that are specific to each Warframe), all weapons, and Sentinel are confiscated and stored in varies locations throughout the map, leaving the player with only basic fist attacks. The player will still maintain other Warframe mods though, meaning your shields, health, movement speed, etc. will still function as normal.

Sneaking up behind Humanoid enemies and doing a stealth assassination is the fastest way to take them down (remember that MOAs are immune to stealth assassinations). EscapeInfobox

Should a player die and forfeit or quit during the Escape mission, they will be returned to the Star Chart. The player will be unable to play in any other missions and must replay the Escapte mission until it is completed.

The equipment (Warframe, Weapons, and Sentinel) that was captured will be rendered unusable until they redo the Escape mission. Unusable equipment will be red holograms of the original item. Changing Warframes or any of weapons before trying the mission again will not make any difference; the Warframe and weapons the player had when captured by Harvester will still be the ones to find/use in the Escape mission, and you will still have to complete this mission before you can do any other missions.

You also must complete the mission alone. It will not allow you to be part of a group or invite any friends to join you.

Trivia

  • The Escape mission was introduced in Update 11.7.3, and was indirectly mentioned in the build notes.

Media

  • Unusable equipment shown in the Arsenal.
