Characteristics

This weapon deals primarily  Impact damage.

Advantages:

• Second highest base damage of all Archmelees, behind  Veritux.
• High  Impact damage – effective against shields.
• High critical chance.
• Good status chance.
• No delay between combo looping, allowing for smoother attacks.
• Innate polarity.

Disadvantages:

• Low  Puncture and  Slash damage – less effective against armor and health.
• Second lowest attack speed of all Archmelees, after  Veritux.

The Rathbone's blueprint can be purchased from the Market. Its parts can be purchased from various Syndicates. All parts, except for the blueprint, are tradeable.

Trivia

• The Agkuza hook-sword, Onorix axe, and Rathbone hammer all share an attack combo, making their gameplay extremely similar. Of them, the Onorix has the lowest base DPS, while the Rathbone has the highest base DPS, in line with their mastery ranks.
