Range (or Beam Length in the context of Continuous Weapons) is a stat that determines that maximum distance in meters that a particular weapon can hit targets from.
All hit-scan weapons have a maximum range of 300m by default unless otherwise listed. Notable exceptions include Continuous Weapons, Sniper Rifles, and Archguns.
Max Life[]
Some weapons that shoot projectiles may have a projectile lifetime associated and not an explicit maximum range stat. For these weapons, the only way to increase their maximum range is to use Projectile Speed bonuses instead of range ones. For example, Arca Plasmor shoots a projectile that travels at 60m/s with a 0.5s duration, meaning that its maximum range is 30m. Applying a Fatal Acceleration, will increase the projectile's speed to 84m/s, meaning its new maximum range will be 42m.
