The Radiant Eidolon Shard is a resource that can be converted into 40,000 Focus points for any unlocked Focus School.

Acquisition[]

Eidolon Gantulysts will drop one Radiant Shard while Eidolon Hydrolysts will drop two Radiant Shards if they are captured with charged Eidolon Lures at the final stage of the fight.

Notes[]

  • Necessary in order to summon the Hydrolyst at the Eidolon shrine, provided the Gantulyst was captured successfully.
  • Radiant Eidolon Shards can be converted into 40,000 Focus in the Orbiter's Transference Room. To do so, players can go to Focus Conversion to the lower right corner of the screen when viewing an unlocked school's ability tree, then selecting how many Shards they want to redeem.
    • The Focus points provided by converting these does not affect the daily cap, allowing players to continue gaining Focus beyond the daily cap.

Patch History[]

Hotfix 23.8.2 (2018-09-19)

  • Fixed Large Shard quantities sometimes producing an error message saying that a connection cannot be made to the Focus Tree. The Shards disappear (but not consumed) but the Focus is not awarded.

Update 22.16 (2018-03-15)

  • The Shard selection screen will now show you how many Brilliant or Radiant Shards you have available to convert into Focus (originally this number would only be available to you once you had selected what Shard type you wanted to convert).
Eidolon Shrine Changes
  • Brilliant/Radiant Shards are not removed from player inventory until the respective Eidolon spawns.
  • All Shards are removed from the Shrine and returned to Player inventories if a Host migration occurs before the Eidolon spawns.
  • All Shards are removed from the Shrine and returned to Player inventories if Night ends before the respective Eidolon spawns.
  • All Shards are removed from the Shrine and returned to Player inventories if players extract from that Plains before the Eidolon spawns.

Update 22.12 (2018-02-09)

  • Introduced.
