Piercing Roar is a Warframe Augment Mod for  Rhino that gives  Roar the ability to inflict knockdown and 5  Puncture procs on enemies. Additionally allows Roar to be recast and passively increases its range.

Acquisition

• This mod can be acquired by attaining the rank of General under Steel Meridian, or the rank of Partner under The Perrin Sequence, and spending 25,000 Standing 25,000 to purchase.

Notes

• Piercing Roar inflicts 150  Puncture damage, which is affected by Ability Strength.
• Piercing range is affected by Ability Range.
•  Puncture proc duration is affected by Ability Duration.
• Any existing buff by Roar gets cancelled when recasting Roar.
• Does not require line of sight to hit enemies.

Tips

• This mod applies two different status effects (knockdown and  Puncture) to nearby enemies, so it can be useful for  Condition Overload.

WARFRAME AUGMENT BUFFS PART 2

In Update 31.2, we buffed a number of underused Warframe augments. The time has come to continue this work! This batch tackles Warframes from Loki to Rhino (of which there are surprisingly many!). We have increased their viability in missions, which we hope will  encourage more build diversity.

Rhino’s Piercing Roar

• Was: Enemies within 25m will be knocked down and suffer from a Puncture Status Effect. Roar can be recast.
• Now: Enemies within 25m will be knocked down and suffer 10 stacks of Puncture Status. Roar can be recast. Additionally increases Roar’s Range by +40%.
