Discovered deep inside an ancient Orokin derelict the Paris Prime increases the kinetic energy of any bolt it fires, dealing more damage than its more common counterpart.

The Paris Prime is the Prime variant of the Paris.png Paris, featuring higher damage, critical chance, critical multiplier, and status chance, but with a slightly slower reload speed.

This weapon can be sold for Credits64.png 7,500.

Characteristics[]

This weapon deals primarily DmgPunctureSmall64.png Puncture damage.

Advantages:

  • High DmgPunctureSmall64.png Puncture damage – effective against armor.
  • Second highest critical chance of all bows, behind Dread2.png Dread and Lenz.png Lenz.
  • Charged shots have innate 3 meter punch through.
  • Pinpoint accuracy when aiming (RMB ).
  • On kill, bodies will follow the arrow that killed them, damaging anyone in their path and pinning the corpse to walls.
  • Silent.
  • Innate Naramon Pol.svg and Madurai Pol.svg polarity.
  • Can use the bow-exclusive Mod TT 20px.png Thunderbolt and the Paris Prime-exclusive Mod TT 20px.png Bhisaj-Bal mods.
  • Fire rate mods apply double their bonuses.

Disadvantages:

  • Low DmgImpactSmall64.png Impact and DmgSlashSmall64.png Slash damage – less effective against shields and health.
  • Arrows have travel time with slight arcing.
  • Draws from the rare sniper ammo pool.

Tips[]

  • Use Mod TT 20px.png Point Strike to take advantage of Paris Prime's extremely high base critical chance.
    • A level 4 Mod TT 20px.png Point Strike is also sufficient to boost each shot's critical chance past 100%, making every shot a critical hit.
    • A maxed Point Strike will, with every charged shot, give a 12.5% chance for orange crits.
  • Lead targets both horizontally and vertically at greater distances in order to compensate for projectile travel time.
  • Maintaining a charge at all times can make engaging a group of enemies easier.
    • Charging can be cancelled without releasing the arrow by using the reload button (Press the reload button while holding fire).
      • Doing a melee attack will release the arrow, however.
    • All "charge weapons" (except CorpusHandRocket.png Angstrum and CrpBFG.png Opticor) are capable of holding their charge during a sprint.
    • As long as the user starts charging a shot, they are able to finish charging while they are still sprinting.
    • Using elevators and opening co-op doors does not cancel the charge, however hacking consoles and opening lockers will.
    • Sliding when you are about to hit the ground (from any height) is very useful for keeping your charge instead of losing it by rolling.
