Parallax

The Parallax was designed for Zariman interplanetary research. It can deploy the advanced Orokin Eye air support, which would have allowed colonizers to study areas rich in rare resources before landing.

—In-game description

The Parallax is a Landing Craft, which can serve as an alternative transportation choice to the Liset. It comes with the Orokin Eye air support ability, scanning for rare resource within 150 meters (spherically from player on map).

The Parallax landed in Update 31.6 (2022-06-09).

Acquisition

A fully built Parallax can be purchased on the Market for 150 Platinum 150. Alternatively all component blueprints can be obtained from Zariman Ten Zero Reinforced Carrypod Storage Containers as a rare drop, while the main blueprint can be purchased from the Market. All component blueprints are tradeable between players.

Expected means a player can expect to obtain at least one of a drop every N attempts on average.
Nearly Guaranteed refers to the total number of attempts a player needs to obtain a 1 in 10^2,3, and 4 probability not to have recieved a single drop (99%, 99.9%, and 99.99% probability to have received at least one drop).
The combined probability of multiple drops is 1 - ((1-A%) * (1-B%) * ...) (add drops in same rotation)

Orokin Eye

The Air Support ability will highlight these items within a 150m radius similar to  Golden Instinct, sending out Void Sparks to their general direction(s):

• Ayatan Treasures
• Syndicate Medallions
• The following Fragments, which will only be highlighted if there is a player in the squad who has not completed scans;
  • Somachord fragments
  • Frame Fighter fragments
  • Cephalon fragments
• Kuria
• Zarium Accolades
• Rare Storage Containers

Void Sparks will only last 5 seconds, but items will remain highlighted until all players interact with them.

Note that the Air Support Charge for Orokin Eye has a 5 minute cool down before re-use.

Orokin Eye does not highlight:

• Sabotage caches

Skins

Parallax Skins can be applied through the Equipment > Orbiter > Landing Craft > Livery option. These skins do not consume decoration capacity.
