“Market forces dictate that you need to evolve or die.”
Pandero Prime is Vaulted.
The Void Relics for this item have been removed from the drop tables and do not drop during missions at this time. Check the current Prime Resurgence rotation to see if Varzia offers relics for this item. Vaulted Void Relics already contained in player inventories are not affected and can still be either opened or traded between players.
Pandero Prime is the Primed variant of the Pandero semi-automatic pistol, sporting increased damage and status chance. Pandero Prime was released alongside Octavia Prime and Tenora Prime.
Characteristics[]
- This weapon deals primarily Slash damage.
- Alternate Fire shoots all remaining ammunition in the magazine in a quick burst.
- Benefits from magazine increasing mods to further increase the burst's damage.
- Prevents Zoom.
- This prevents the buffs from Hydraulic Crosshairs and Sharpened Bullets from affecting this attack as a result.
- Has high Recoil and wide spread, making it inaccurate beyond short range.
- Innate polarity.

Vaultings[]
- On December 14th, 2022, Pandero Prime, along with Octavia Prime and Tenora Prime, entered the Prime Vault and were retired from the reward tables. Any preexisting components or fully-built items will remain as is.
Notes[]
- As a Signature Weapon, Pandero Prime gains a bonus effect with Octavia or Octavia Prime, where headshot kills with the Alternate Fire increases reload speed by 20%.
- No weak spots other than actual heads will trigger this effect.
- Headshots on invulnerable enemies will still grant this effect, but not with invulnerable bosses.
- No weak spots other than actual heads will trigger this effect.
- The Alternate Fire of the Pandero Prime will eject all of the remaining ammunition in the magazine in a single burst.
- The base firerate of the alt-fire is 10 rounds per second.
- Increasing the magazine size of the weapon such as with Slip Magazine and using recoil reduction mods like Steady Hands can help to make its damage output more consistent and reliable.
- If buffed with unlimited ammo such as from the Reactant Buff, the weapon will only fire its magazine amount at a time, with small delays between each trigger pull.
- Can be canceled with quick melee.
- Aiming will be disabled for the duration of the burst; hence the alternate fire cannot benefit from Acolyte Mods.
Trivia[]
- Pandero is the Spanish word for Tambourine, a hand-held percussion instrument.
- The Pandero's last four shots sound slightly different to indicate low ammunition.
- The Pandero is actually an 8 shot, double action revolver, as indicated in the reload animation and the rapid manual cocking animation of the the hammer during alternate fire.
- The cylinder is very far forward, resulting in an extremely short barrel.
