One-Handed Action

One-handed action refer to actions that can be performed on the move while reloading, charging or firing weapons without cancelling them. This does not imply that all animations which show only one hand performing an action are one-handed abilities; the phrase only refers that a player may still reload while performing other actions without disturbance. For example, a Nova can cast Antimatter Drop in the middle of reloading since said ability is a one-handed ability.

List of one-handed actions

• Most Maneuvers: crouch, sprint, slide, jump, double jump, bullet jump, ledge grab, wall dash, wall latch, vault, and ziplining. Only rolling is considered two-handed action.
• Using a one-handed ability: Antimatter Drop, Bastille, Exalted Blade, Fireball, Minelayer, Psychic Bolts, Radial Blind, Rip Line, Shock, Shuriken, Smite, Soul Punch, Tail Wind, Tesla, Undertow, Vex Armor, Vortex, Worm Hole.
  • Being pulled with Valkyr's Rip Line.
• Inserting a datamass into a Mobile Defense terminal.
• Catching a glaive mid-flight.
