'''One-Handed Action''' refer to actions that can be performed on the move while [[reload]]ing, charging or firing weapons without any cancelling them. This does not imply that all animations which show only one hand performing an action are one-handed abilities; the phrase only refers to the fact that a player can still perform an action while simultaneously performing other actions without any disturbance. The following actions are all one-handed:

'''Two-handed action''' refers to actions that lock the Tenno in an animation lock, disabling mobility and other one-handed actions. One-handed action refers to actions that can be performed on the move while reloading, charging or firing weapons simultaneously; allowing the Tenno to perform a wide range of actions without being constrained with animation locks. For example, a NovaIcon272 Nova can sprint and cast AntimatterDrop130xWhite Antimatter Drop while reloading a weapon at the same time, while a VaubanIcon272 Vauban can deploy Bastille130xWhite Bastille while charging a bow simultaneously.

Two-handed action refers to actions that lock the Tenno in an animation lock, disabling mobility and other one-handed actions. This means that even though MagIcon272 Mag's Pull130xWhite Pull is a one handed action, it cannot be cast while rolling, as the latter is a two-handed action. Likewise while performing melee combos, an OberonIcon272 Oberon cannot cast Smite130xWhite Smite, as melee counts as a two-handed action.
