But don't worry, the admin and editor team are aware of them and they will be resolved over the next few days as our Weapons Module goes through a much needed overhaul.
Sorry for any inconvenience!

  • In the Ampulex Steam Workshop page, the author related us a brief description with the helmet lore:

"The primary goal of the Vespa Mk-2 helmet, later named “Ampulex”, was to reinforce a relatively fragile frame, introduction of additional armour plates to the sides and front, and augmentation of the central cerebrum processing unit. Additional cooling and air ventilation systems also had to be installed due to the enormous amounts of heat being produced by the cerebrum-core.

This resulted in a heavier, robust, and more effective and defensive design that was, sadly, discontinued shortly after due to a heavy increase in development costs.

... And the fact that due to a small glitch in the system, 1 in 30 Nyxes with the Ampulex helmet installed had a tendency to spontaneously detonate the craniums of anyone within a 50m. radius".
