Null Audit is a Hound Precept mod that allows the Hound to copy Eximus auras for its own use, while stripping half of targeted Eximus's current Overguard.

Acquisition

Null Audit is automatically acquired upon claiming a Hound configured with the Bhaira Model.

Notes

• Cannot be equipped with  Repo Audit and  Equilibrium Audit.
• Cooldown is 60 seconds from the start of the previous use at all ranks.
• The Hound will locate the nearest Eximus enemy and attack it, generating a transparent bubble effect around the attacked unit, copying their unique abilities to the Hound and stripping Overguard. The Hound can only have one aura at a time. Eximus Behaviors are as follows:
  • Arson/Caustic Eximus gives the Hound the ability to use a fire blast to knock back enemies.
  • Arctic/Frozen Eximus gives the Hound a radius that slightly slows down enemies while periodically generating a  Snow Globe for its own protection. The globe blocks enemy fire, while Tenno gunfire can pass through unhindered.
  • Shock/Bio-Electric Eximus will allow the Hound to fire off three shock orbs every 10 seconds that seek and rotate around enemies. The damage is non-existent on the Hound, compared to an enemy using this ability.
  • Venomous Eximus gives the Hound  Toxin procs on attacks and a 3m toxin cloud surrounding it. The damage is negligible.
  • Guardian Eximus gives the Hound and Tenno a Damage Reduction buff, but will not inherit the rotating shields.
  • Blitz Eximus gives the Hound the ability to use the shockwave every 10 seconds.
  • Sanguine/Leech Eximus gives the Hound life steal on all attacks. Additionally, the Hound will generate the same sapping zones that the Eximus units can, which appear to do scaling damage.
  • Energy Leech/Parasitic Eximus gives the Hound  Magnetic procs on attacks, providing 3 energy per second over 3 seconds to Tenno within 25 meters. The Hound will also generate the same sapping fields associated with this Eximus, inflicting 2  Magnetic procs on any enemies in the area and restoring energy to nearby players.
  • Jade Light Eximus will target nearby enemies with homing satellite lasers, dealing increasing  Heat damage the longer the targeted enemy stays under it.
• Almost all abilities will inherit the Hound's chosen energy colors, allowing players to distinguish allied Eximus abilities. The Jade Light is a partial exception: while the beam's source will inherit the Hound's energy color, the beam will largely remain green.

Tips

• Although the overall damage, if any, from the copied auras is reduced, they still count as the Hound's "abilities" for triggering  Manifold Bond's effects, allowing the Hound to spread several status effects across groups of enemies (which also helps reduce their cooldowns, allowing the Hound to fire off said abilities more often), on top of whatever beneficial effects these abilities may have.

Hotfix 36.0.4 (2024-06-26)

• Fixed Hound’s Null Audit Precept (when stealing Arctic Eximus bubbles) unintentionally doubling weapon Critical Hit Damage when shooting through it.

Hotfix 36.0.1 (2024-06-19)

• When Companion Hounds steal an Arctic Eximus’ Shield with Null Audit, the shield will no longer block friendly projectiles (similar to Frost’s Snow Globe).

Update 31.5 (2022-04-27)

EXIMUS REBORN

An important note for Hound Companions Null Audit functionality: Hounds will now copy Eximus Auras, as opposed to stealing. If an Eximus with active Overguard is struck by a Hound wielding a copied Eximus ability, they will strip the Eximus’ Overguard by 50%.

Hotfix 30.5.5 (2021-07-29)

• Hound Null Audit Precept now triggers more reliably. Previously it would only trigger if the current target was an Eximus, it will now target a nearby Eximus in range even if they aren't the current target.
