Neptune Proxima
For its normal counterpart, see Neptune.

Neptune Proxima is an Empyrean specific section of Neptune that is under  Corpus control. Proxima locations contain no Dark Sectors and cannot have any Invasions occur within it. To unlock Neptune Proxima you need to complete all Saturn Proxima Missions.

An Intrinsics rank 3 or higher in any category is required to access any of the missions in Neptune Proxima.

Abandoned Derelict[]

The Abandoned Derelict variant, Ice Mine, is the Neptune Proxima variant present on all nodes in this region. This loot dungeon shares some similarities with the Corpus Ice Planet and the Corpus Ship tileset. Additionally, hacking this terminal may reward blueprints/parts for the  Nautilus and Void Relics for  Nyx Prime,  Hikou Prime,  Scindo Prime,  Valkyr Prime,  Cernos Prime, and  Venka Prime upon completion of the mission. As with all Abandoned Derelicts, Piloting Intrinsic Rank 5 will reveal the derelict's location via white waypoint.

Tips[]

  • The text on the nodes in the Neptune Proxima indicates that they can only be accessed if the player has at least one Intrinsic class at rank 3 or above; however, this only applies to players who are playing alone or are solo-queueing for public squads. For players joining together in pre-formed squads, only the squad host needs to meet the Intrinsic requirement.

Trivia[]

  • Proxima is an alternate form of Latin word proximus, which means nearest, next or adjoining.
    • Proxima is also another name of Proxima Centauri, a flare star in the southern constellation of Centaurus, the nearest star to the sun.
