Necropolis

The Necropolis was one of the Lost Islands of Duviri.

It was watched over by Leem, the corpse-warden of the island. His grave can be seen in Duviri, within the cemetery at Titan's Rest.

General

One of the largest and strangest islands of Duviri, the Necropolis appeared to be a sprawling burial ground, littered with numerous tombs, gravestones, crosses, and sarcophagi. Some of Duviri's denizens would attempt to loot these sites, but instead found that each coffin contained numerous imitations of the human body in various stages of decay.

Each corpse was carved from a different medium; skeletons carved from wood, decayed faces sculpted from crumbling clay, and intact corpses made from stuffing old clothes with rotting straw.

Like all of the other Lost Islands, the Necropolis has now been lost in the Void.

The Doll Mausoleum

One of the leather hoods worn by the bodies found in the mausoleum.

A notable landmark of the Necropolis, the Doll Mausoleum was a unique burial structure that appeared to be far too small. Each of its tiny cavities contained a coffin that held a small child-sized being that wore a one-piece suit of black leather. Based on the description, these beings appear to actually be Operators wearing their Transference suits.

For some unknown reason, Dominus Thrax was known to visit the Mausoleum alone.
