Welcome, Tenno, to the hallowed Necralisk... what remains of it. Here you will find safe haven from the Infestation that ravages Deimos. The Entrati family are more approachable than they look, and will co-operate with you in the interests of mutual survival. Not everything you will see is as it seems, for the Necralisk holds potent secrets for those with the means to find them...
—Introductory Description

The Necralisk is the home of House Entrati who are family of partially-Infested IconOrokinOn Orokin, located to the north of Dirus, Deimos. It is the ruins of an opulent Orokin mansion-like residence, much smaller than an Orokin Tower, hidden inside a large round Infested growth in the north-east of the Cambion Drift.

As a hub, players can interact with various NPCs to purchase items from shops or accept quests or bounties to be completed out in the drift. Players can enter the drift via a large metal Orokin door in the south of the mansion, leading to a large foyer that has another door that finally leads to the drift beyond. The room acts as a loading screen, and players will be unable to exit out of the other end until the loading is complete.

Lore & History[]

General[]

WF TennoconInfoAnnounce Deimos 1080p

The Necralisk is the residence of the EntratiIcon Entrati family, and is mainly used as a research enclave dedicated to the study of the Void. It was also the home of the family former head, Albrecht Entrati, before his untimely disappearance. Records of his first voyage into the Void are stored within the Entrati's family archives, located in the backroom next to Mother.

The Infestation Of Deimos[]

Main article: Citrine

After a bio-bomb was detonated in Deimos in an attempt to repel the Sentients, the entire moon was overrun with the Infestation. The Entrati had no choice but to lock themselves in the Necralisk and use it as a makeshift safehouse. To escape the troubles of the family, the children would occupy themselves by studying the Infestation; Daughter would catch and study Infested fish, and had a collection of original Orokin specimens, while Son would begin breeding Infested beasts, dressing them up as members of the family as a joke.

Ultimately, he would inadvertently break containment protocol. Some of the Infested fauna he bred followed him home, allowing spores to make their way onto the Necralisk and infest the rest of the family, which led them to lose their names and most of their memories and ideas.

Main article: Entrati

The Entrati (also known as the Entrati Family or House Entrati) are an elusive IconOrokinOn Orokin family who reside within the Necralisk; a Void research enclave located on the now-Infested moon of Deimos. They were highly renowned during the Orokin Era for being the first ones to create technologies that harnessed the power of the Void. Today, the sole survivors of the family are a single dysfunctional household that dwells on the Cambion Drift, Deimos. Additionally, the family are all partly Infestation w Infested, with their individual names taken from them by the hive mind, however they retain their personalities and internal squabbles.

The head of the Entrati family is Mother, a partially-infested Orokin scientist, mathematician, and philosopher, whose father was responsible for the creation of the Heart, a device that serves as the wellspring of void power for the Tenno of which the Entrati currently maintain. The Entrati were also responsible for originating the Requiem words, as well as maintaining one of the Cosmic Clocks. Previously subservient to the Entrati, the Necramechs were elite and luxurious defensive units that have now gone rogue with the encroaching infestation on Deimos. These units mostly reside in the underworld, protecting the long-abandoned Entrati Isolation Vaults.

Necraloid[]

Necraloids are Entrati machines operated by Cephalons, serving as loyal servants to the Entrati family.

Cambion Drift[]

Main article: Cambion Drift

The Cambion Drift is an expansive, open Landscape connected to Necralisk, an Entrati settlement located on Deimos. Beyond the gates of the Necralisk, the Infestation's Grey Strain has taken control of a majority of the Landscape. Cambion Drift is available after initiating the Heart of Deimos quest in the Codex.

The giant Infested wyrms, Fass and Vome, represent the cycle of the Landscape, stuck in an eternal battle between the siblings for which there can be no victor. Entrati Necramech battle mechs are also found here, operating on their autonomous kill precepts.

Trivia[]

  • On top of a pillar to the right side facing Loid/Otak is an interactable Digital Extremes logo, which plays a credits sequence.
  • Aside from the area the player enters if selected from the Star Chart, there is only a single window to the outside world in the entire interior of the Necralisk, appearing next to Mother's area.
