The Void Relics for this item have been removed from the drop tables and do not drop during missions at this time. Check the current Prime Resurgence rotation to see if Varzia offers relics for this item. Vaulted Void Relics already contained in player inventories are not affected and can still be either opened or traded between players.
Nagantaka Prime is the Primed variant of the 
Nagantaka Crossbow, sporting increased Damage, Critical Chance, burst Fire rate, and Magazine size. It was released alongside 
Garuda Prime and 
Corvas Prime.

Slash damage. - Headshot kills from direct bolt damage boosts reload speed by 50%.

Notes[]
- When used by Garuda or Garuda Prime, the Nagantaka Prime gains 1 meter innate Punch Through.
- Similar to its standard counterpart, the Nagantaka Prime's Alternate Fire will eject all of the remaining ammunition in the magazine in a single burst.
- If buffed with unlimited ammo such as from the Reactant Buff, the weapon will only fire its magazine amount at a time, with small delays between each trigger pull.
- Unlike the Pandero or Wild Frenzy, the Nagantaka Prime can still be aimed during the burst, allowing the weapon to still benefit from Acolyte Mods. However, recoil can be a bit of an issue when trying to aim the entire burst at a single target especially if Speed Trigger is used, so you may need to equip Stabilizer to account for it.
- Given the much higher damage-per-shot of the Nagantaka Prime compared to other Burst and Auto rifles and its own standard counterpart, while in mid-burst the Nagantaka Prime has a higher total DPS rate than all of them.
Tips[]
- As with most weapons with the ability to unload an entire magazine in a single burst (such as the Kuva Hek or the Pandero), the Nagantaka Prime's alt-fire synergizes well with Mag's short-tap Magnetize bubble, as the quick torrent of shot can pulverize crowds of enemies caught in the bubble.
- Due to the weapon possessing 90% slash damage, mods such as Fanged Fusillade are highly effective on it, providing more damage bonus than pure 90% elemental mods.

- Alt fire is not silent and will alert enemies if fired, but will not break Prowl's cloak.
