Mytocardia Spore is resource that can be found in Mytocardia Sacs strewn all over Orb Vallis, dropping 1-3 Spores per Sac. growing beneath giant mushrooms on the ground. Mytocardia Spores are also rewarded by Bounties.
The mushroom forest to the West of the Coolant Reservoir, and the area around the lake South of Transit Depot are particularly rich locations.
Playing higher level bounties does not appear to increase how many Mytocardia Spores are dropped by each Sac.

- Mytocardia is a portmanteau of the prefix myco-, which refers to fungi, and the word cardia, which refers to cardiac muscle and alludes to the spore's resemblance to a human heart.
- Mysteriously the Mytocardia Sac has two Codex entries with only varying by the depicted sac in two slightly different views.
