  • Hello,

I just came across your explination of the void relcis and how you're able to get certain ones etc. I just wanted to drop by your wall and say it was very well thought out and everything you said made perfect sense. I know the internet is sometimes a hateful or spiteful place, but I wanted to drop by and say you did an awesome job explaining that!

    Regards,

    Dark

    • Hi Dark,

are you referring to that post ? Always happy to help, though i try to keep an even level of helpful comments and shitposts :)
Have a nice day on the fields!

      Regards,
      Wammut

  • I have a question. :)

Is there any reason why a "Convectrix" doesn't have a pellet count whatsoever?

Shotguns are supposed to have pellet counts and this one doesn't for either unknown reasons or no reason whatsoever.

    • Hi Psy, hi Finner, thanks for substituting me :)

Indeed i was busy, much to do at work (so no time to browse here :D ), plus i moved to another place. I haven't played Warframe much since then, guess I'm a bit burned out from the grind.

I still like the game, but I don't have much incentive to play it or go on the wiki atm, maybe that'll change when a new update hits.

    • Welcome back Wammut! :D

And I see where you're getting at here. :)

I do hope you'll be able to have a chance. :)

  • I have a question or more about a "Rubico ->[1]<-". :)

The Critical Damages its Zoom Levels give, are they Critical Damage Multipliers, and if so, are they combined with its Critical Damage Multiplier of 3.0x, which when combined, adds up to either "38.0x" or "53.0x", depending on which Zoom Level it zoom into? :)

I could be wrong, and I do hope I am.

    • haven't really playtested with the Rubico, from what i found on several sites it works like this:

Total crit damage = Base crit damage * (1+bonus from mods) * (1+zoom bonus)

(using Vital Sense's +120% in this example)

      in the case of 5x zoom: 3x * (1+120%) * (1+35%) = 8.91x

      in the case of 12x zoom: 3x * (1+120%) * (1+50%) = 9.9x

might be a bit different but surely not as high as your numbers ;)

    • I see.

So if that's true, then I have another question. :)

Which sniper weapon is a best, strongest and most powerful of all sniper weapons? :)

        Loading editor
    • Strongest and most powerful I'd say Lanka.

Best you can't really say, it's personal preference as they have different mechanics.

I'd recommend Lanka if you like slow firing, but hard hitting snipers; Rubico if you like the classic hitscan snipers and Vectis Prime if you like quickscoping bolt-actions (yes, it still works on this one with some practice).

    • I see. :)

Three snipers with different powers and abilities. :)

Countless thanks for such a advice Wammut! :)

I'll keep these in my memory! :)

  • So with the kohm build you linked [1] was wondering if there was a reason you used charged shell instead of shell shock? I've been trying to optimize my kohm...I've never actually tried using 2 of the secondary elements at the same time. My usual build is [2] which has pretty low dmg but works to shred armor on bosses.

    • i felt like 2x 60/60 status mods were enough to get a big amount of procs, so i decided to put in more damage. Radiation is great against many Grineer and the proc combined with the punchthrough causes a lot of chaos, so i boosted that damage type. that's the whole reason :) if you feel you need even more procs, just change it for Shell Shock.

You could also use a Corrosive + Heat Build, in that case I'd use Toxic Barrage, Shell Shock, Charged Shell and Blaze to maximize Corrosive procs but keep the added CC from Heat procs.

  • Hi! :D

Just wanted to thank you for giving me answers I needed. :)

You must be absolutely intelligent to know all of "WARFRAME ->[1]<-" and all about it I believe. :)

    • this video shows an ice themed loadout (thus using frost and only cold damage mods) and is not catered to be an optimal dps build. this example was just a fun loadout but keep in mind that not every youtuber knows how to mod for optimal damage (Krakr for example also does some weird fun builds in many of his other videos).

It's good to know how to get big damage out of your mods but don't forget to experiment with builds yourself. The mainstream "best builds" will maybe not be the best builds for your playstyle/having fun and copying them you won't learn how to build future weapons on your own.

Countless thanks for telling me the important stuff Wammut. :)

And countless apologies if I bothered you there. <:)
