I just came across your explination of the void relcis and how you're able to get certain ones etc. I just wanted to drop by your wall and say it was very well thought out and everything you said made perfect sense. I know the internet is sometimes a hateful or spiteful place, but I wanted to drop by and say you did an awesome job explaining that!
Well, it's not as though anyone else can't "fix" it either (if it truly even needs fixing), it more of a matter of whether or not it should be listed. If you think we need to put a pellet count of two then I can edit that in real quick.
I have a question or more about a "Rubico -><-". :)
The Critical Damages its Zoom Levels give, are they Critical Damage Multipliers, and if so, are they combined with its Critical Damage Multiplier of 3.0x, which when combined, adds up to either "38.0x" or "53.0x", depending on which Zoom Level it zoom into? :)
Best you can't really say, it's personal preference as they have different mechanics.
I'd recommend Lanka if you like slow firing, but hard hitting snipers; Rubico if you like the classic hitscan snipers and Vectis Prime if you like quickscoping bolt-actions (yes, it still works on this one with some practice).
So with the kohm build you linked was wondering if there was a reason you used charged shell instead of shell shock? I've been trying to optimize my kohm...I've never actually tried using 2 of the secondary elements at the same time. My usual build is which has pretty low dmg but works to shred armor on bosses.
i felt like 2x 60/60 status mods were enough to get a big amount of procs, so i decided to put in more damage. Radiation is great against many Grineer and the proc combined with the punchthrough causes a lot of chaos, so i boosted that damage type. that's the whole reason :) if you feel you need even more procs, just change it for Shell Shock.
You could also use a Corrosive + Heat Build, in that case I'd use Toxic Barrage, Shell Shock, Charged Shell and Blaze to maximize Corrosive procs but keep the added CC from Heat procs.
Lol it's not like I'm here for work, I'm on the wiki because I like it so you won't bother me one bit ;)
So for your builds:
Opticor: You forgot Split Chamber, that's essential on every build. Also no elemental combo, which gives a huge boost in damage. Crit build is rather unreliably as i said but if you wanna go with it, make an elemental combo first, then use crit mods. Also Bladed Rounds yields you higher dps than Argon Scope on such low critchance weapons. Lastly, Metal Auger + Shred is really not needed, Shred's punchthrough is always enough imo. to your second opticor build i already told you what's wrong. my suggested build: http://goo.gl/51fXDV
Glaxion: Honestly don't know much about this weapon, never built it. Same story about Metal Auger + Shred here. But as the stats suggest I'd go with some status chance and the rest elemental damage. Heavy Caliber seems to make the weapon abit unreliable as it's page's notes suggest. If you still wanna go with it, stay in close range to the enemy. my suggested build: http://goo.gl/lwTpBf (for some nice corrosive procs).
from your builds i can see you still have to learn a lot about elements, their combos and resistances/weaknesses. look here: Damage 2.0 . On the table a bit down you will see that for example against armor, Corrosive and Radiation will get +75% bonus damage. Single elements like Cold will only get +25% bonus damage against the right enemy. So always have an elemental combo on your builds and adjust it to the enemies you're facing! (most used combos: Corrosive against Grineer/Corrupted/Infested; Radiation+Viral against Grineer; Magnetic against Corpus)
Who could've thought I've made such flaws after choosing the mods I've thought were the right. :(
I just watched the many videos that I thought would give me answers I need. :)
Like "Warframe Builds - ONLY COLD DAMAGE [Frost/Glaxion - Update 16.11] -><-", which shows "WiseKrakr" perfecting "Cold Damage -><-" and making that damage into everything that destroys all enemies easily! :)
this video shows an ice themed loadout (thus using frost and only cold damage mods) and is not catered to be an optimal dps build. this example was just a fun loadout but keep in mind that not every youtuber knows how to mod for optimal damage (Krakr for example also does some weird fun builds in many of his other videos).
It's good to know how to get big damage out of your mods but don't forget to experiment with builds yourself. The mainstream "best builds" will maybe not be the best builds for your playstyle/having fun and copying them you won't learn how to build future weapons on your own.
