Just going to weigh in as I am being called to as the informer as it seems, you cannot cherry pick what to listen to and what to ignore Twilight053 but you seem to have your own way of doing things so I shall leave it at that.
Anyhow, user in question is the Ever so long named one and was to my understanding that it was settled a week before any warnings or ill-advised promotions were given out as I am sure we can both remember the messages exchanged in private and it is solely up to the increasingly long named party if they still wish to pursue this any further as it was to my knowledge settled already.
Out of subject however, might I suggest something private such as the Warframe forums or chat client itself? Nobody likes getting slapped on the wrist and even more so in an externally viewable format.
If this is about that argument with the ever so long named one I don't really see the point here. That argument was purely for shits and giggles and I saw no reason to take it otherwise and I was genuinely surprised when Engie came between us and told us to stop. I really had nothing for the argument and nothing against it so I ended it. It was a pointless argument and I think both sides knew it was nothing serious. Care to share the chat logs if you have any?
The only thing I agree on doing wrong is bugging Usoulz about the chat emote. It was meant as a joke but I didn't make it clear enough.
I don't know exactly what happened or why it happened; but I'll make it crystal clear that the staffs are not exempt from anything and is bound to the rules as much as any other wikians, and of course we have to set a good example.
I'm tired of having to play police, so I'm drawing a clear line. I do not want to hear any more staff abusing power anymore, and the same also extends to moderators and even admins as well. If this happens again, he's out. I'd much prefer not having to do this to Jeloxale as he still is a cooperative member of our stafflist, and is nowhere near as someone with a Hedgeg syndrome.
Now, before anyone sets up a witch hunt and try to find anything remotely "over the line" to get Jeloxale out, don't. Everyone makes mistakes and it's only fair to give him another chance. Give him the benefit of doubt.
I'm not going to apologize on behalf of Jeloxale, if he wants to do it, it's his job. My apology would be almost meaningless.
Now I hope we can put this all behind us, chill, and just enjoy the game.
I do not want to hear any more chatmods abusing their power anymore
I was never even close to kicking him, because he was not breaking any rules. All I said was /kick for fun(it does absolutely nothing) and then it rolled off and stuff. Because he was so "cold" at one point I said "So you don't mind if I kick you" as a joke and he posted a long story of how he would get my modpowers removed.
Only saying this, because apparently I removed a part of my previous comment. I still find this conversation/thread/chain useless as nothing really happened. I was sure he got the joke and that's why I continued the chat with him but apparently he didn't and took the whole thing the opposite way. My mistake? Maybe. Not going to apologize as I find it pointless.
Merry Christmas! I'm planning to giving away five potatoes of choices to random dudes in a community raffle in an upcoming blog (which I will write later). The giveaway will work like a raffle pool prize, decided via random.org. Want to pool in your prize?
