The Loc-Pin is a Gear item that allows players to plant a custom marker on locations within Free-Roam maps, namely the Plains of Eidolon and Orb Vallis. The Loc-Pin marker can be given a custom name, as well as given a custom minimap logo to allow for easy identification of the desired location.
Once placed, a Loc-Pin will permanently remain on the map, persisting between sessions.
