The Loc-Pin is a Gear item that allows players to plant a custom marker on locations within Free-Roam maps, such as the Plains of Eidolon and Orb Vallis. The Loc-Pin marker can be given a custom name, a custom color, as well as given a custom minimap logo and the option to show it in the HUD to allow for easy identification of the desired location.
Once placed, a Loc-Pin will permanently remain on the map, persisting between sessions.

Acquisition
Loc-Pin can be researched in a Clan Dojo's Tenno Research Lab. The reusable blueprint can then be purchased for 5,000.
Notes
- You can only place a maximum of 15 Loc-Pins within a map.
Bugs
- The preview for the blueprint in the Dojo research shows the crafting time as 2 minutes, while the actual crafting time in the Foundry is only 1 minute.

Hotfix 24.2.8 (2019-01-15)
- Fixed the Loc-pin being non-interactable when newly placed until re-entering the mission.
Hotfix 24.2.7 (2018-01-09)
- Added a "Show In HUD" option to context menu for the Loc-Pin (off by default). When enabled, it will show an in-world marker for the owner of the marker.
- Added a custom color option to the Loc-Pin.
- Increased the Loc-Pin limit from 10 to 15.
- Remove [PH] text from the Loc-Pin item description.
- Fixed the Loc-Pin item mechanic not saving properly.
